Ok so i went on my first sarge ever to a club with a few of my mates. I stuck on a bandana for a bit of peacocking. I managed to open 6 times and managed to close nothing! But its a start at least. Heres an example:

I spotted an isolated 2-set. One was wearing a Santa hat. I went up to her and asked “hey did you steal me friend's hat cus he lost his a while ago?” and smiled at her. She said no and I negged her “Are you sure because you look kind of like a thief to me”. I said it a c/f way I think. I was thinking this is great I’m getting somewhere. So I went on.

Chaos: Hey do you believe in any like psychic shit or anything?
Santa Hat: Yea omg guess what colour am I thinking of?
Chaos: Blue
Santa Hat: omg yea!

I kept going. I asked her to think of a number between 0 and 10 and I guessed it correctly (7). But while I had been talking to Santa Hat the other girl had moved off and I thought that sucks because I need to talk to her so I wasn’t giving Santa Hat all the attention (she was my target). So I sort of freaked out and didn’t know what to do or say and left them to rejoin my friends.

My other attempts were'nt anymore successful than that but I know what to improve on now. I found myself standing around alot thinking of how i should open a set so I need to have a few good openers on the tip of my tongue. The other thing is I could have potentially approached about 30 different sets but didnt bother so I need to learn to just go for it.

On a plus side I was too busy concentrating on the game i didint drink much and left the club with a much heathier liver and wallet than usual lol

Sounds like it went okay for a first try. What was your ideal goal for closing? Like #-close? K-close? etc?

Since Santa Hat was your target, you needed to do some group theory routines, try some DHV stories before moving into ESP routines and Cold Readings then when the friend obstacle is overcome, try to either isolate or just say that you would like to continue the conversation later. If she wants to continue it later ask if she has E-mail and if she accepts and when she is writing it down, "tell her to throw in her number as well." (David DeAngelo)
