my arm and chest look boff but they are all soft except when i flex them, i love eating just as much as i work out (alot), how can i get my arm and chest hard and bigger?
my friends and i do the same workouts, i look more muscler than they but they have a six pac,hard chest and normal arm.

For making your muscles bigger and stronger you have to do exercise regularly and with that you have to take supplements which will help you get proper shape.

Getting your muscles bigger won't make them harder if you've still got a layer of fat on top of them. I don't know if you're in the UK or USA, but look at rugby union players - the "backs" are still built, but have a much lower body fat percentage than the "forwards". The forwards look like they're going to look after themselves in a fight much better, but the backs are the ones who have got the six pack, rock hard abs, gleaming muscle type look. If you've already got some muscle there, then you're going to have to shed the fat on top of them before they look "harder".

when you say they look buff I'm assuming you're big and it looks 'buff' with your clothes on.

if you love eating that's fine but what are you eating?
eating more will speed up metabolism and help you shred but you need to eat the right food obviously. Exaggerated example would be eating tonnes of maccas would speed up your metabolism but it wouldn't speed it up enough to overcome the amoutn of fat and oil you're putting into your body. Also think about maintaining the fuel you feed into your body. Think of an old furnace that's temperature fluctuates depending on how much coal is burning constantly feeding the furnace is going to achieve a higher efficiency as you'll be able to maintain it's temperature better versus shoving a whole lot in and then letting it burn out slowly.

Also don't expect the same results as someone just because you do the same workout. Aside from the obvious everyone's body is different, the way you gain in body building is by how much you're pushing yourself out of your comfort zone.

example, if I (in some parallel universe) were to match one Arnold Schwarzenegger's easy workout I would start to get ridiculous gains because my body would be pushed to it's limits and if Arnie were to match the same workout he'd probably start losing mass since his body will think 'oh this is easy... why do I need so much muscle for?'

the above should help you out enough, main problem you have will be fat percentage as it's the most common. (see trainer to have you fat percentage calculated)

another thing to look at would be focusing on fast twitching muscle groups. type IIa and type IIb fibres tend to be larger than type I (slow twitch)
So you'll need to adjust your workout maybe lower the weights and try on bench for example push out as fast as you can and lower it slowly. This way the fast twitch muscles get a better chance to grow as the slow twitch muscles are much denser so they don't show as much size.

cutting weight makes u look ripped not power lifting and taking in 2000g of protein a day. focus on cardio and core strength
