Ok so I was talking to this new girl at work. She was giving some IOI's ( Laughing at everything i said, i would catch her looking at me, Saying stuff like "oh your evil ". blah bla blah

anyways.. i add her on facebook and she accepts . so this is how its played out so far.....

HER: Oh look who added me haha

ME: Yeah nah i felt sorry for ya being the new girl at work and all

HER: Hahahahahha right

ME: Ohhh you know you wanted the add (her name) haha.

HER: hahahaha sure manure

How should i respond to this . she isnt really giving me much to work with.

Stop in incessant back and forth banal prattle, if shes showing interest then isolate and escalate.

She is already starting to control the frame and calling you out on an interaction you should be directing.

Be very careful about internet / Facebook gaming. Doing this telegraphs a LOT of interest.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but if it were me I would freeze out on Facebook, and keep the game in the field. Remember that the reason that PU works is because it builds a connection on an emotional level. You can't connect like this over the computer, or (IMO) text.

Try to bounce her somewhere other than work, and do NOT use the computer to do this. Do this by talking to her and earning her trust.

If you must address the manure statement, freeze her out for a while. Then kid her at work by saying "sure manure? ...thats not weird (hahahaha)" and walk off busy with something else after she laughs. Look busy with your work, do not appear to be punishing her but actually engaged in your duties. Then save yourself this power struggle in the future by never responding in that channel (Facebook) again.

She may think its weird that you quit the FB banter but reassure her and comfort her when she questions it by having her join you for some fun in C2 (a location other than the meeting location).
