I recently stumbled upon a tv show called "The pickup artist," as I watched I was hooked. Where has this stuff been all my life? Watching the transformation of confidence, social skills and pickup artistry was amazing. This is what I need.

So I'm new, I have not been out in the field yet, I've just started reading a quick guide to the mystery method online which I think will give me a good grounding. Then I want to look for new books/programs to learn from to increase my skills.

If any area in my life is lacking it's my social life and social skills. I want to build confidence, be able to successfully hold conversations with people, make new friend and of course pick up women! I want to get out there and start mingling again.

23, and still living at my mum's house. I need to get out! My social life has diminished to near non existence since leaving high school. I've jumped around from job to job. I am dissatisfied with my life, but have made the decision to change. I am looking into starting my own business, I am exercising and eating healthier, the only thing that is left for me to do is to improve my social skills, move out of home, meet some ladies and really start living!

I look forward to learning here, and getting to know and hopefully learn from and help others!

Sounds a bit like me mate... Lack of confidence i call it, going to the gym + eating healthy are great for you. Keep it up. I moved to australia for a year on ya own to try and come back a new and better person Good luck !

Start meeting people. Everyday - force yourself to open 10 sets. I don't care if it's with the local butcher, open.

You want NO LESS than ten/day. Preferrably more. Try just saying hello to start. Once you're OK with that - start a light conversation.

Your intent is to remove any approach anxiety, garnering you RT experience while you train your brain at home reading/learning. You want get to the point you can focus on a woman's non-verbals and word-indicators.

As for this forum - if you're going to listen to advice - I suggest looking over the posts of the guys offering it. If you think we're full of shit, ignore it and move on. There are some ehre that simply enjoy giving back, others that kinda/sorta promote an agenda, and a ton of AFC's that offer their HIGHLY-limited insight based on reading, not on real life.


Start meeting people now. Then read, read read.... practice, practice, practice.
