This is in reference to my post in Field Reports titled "Giving the talk to J"

well... this morning she texted me "Good morning Boyfriend."

I invited her over for dinner saying I need to talk to her in person before we can be in a relationship. This stuff is not done by text.

What do I do? go through with this?

Looks like your headed into something you really want to avoid and its a unilateral decision. I highly doubt you want her as your girlfriend given your post and tagline. Have you been telling her you love her and shit, and making plans for the future with her because you think that's good game?

I would just respond "Whoa sparky, I usually dont have a girlfriend before ive known a girl for a couple of months" Or "lets not start planning our wedding in Kansas and our Honeymoon in Ethiopia quite yet."

I never told her I love her. I told her I was sleeping with other girls. I told her I was not ready to commit. It was good we were both seeing other people and having fun.
Then she started growing jealous and putting up drama and shit.
In the end I was fed up with that and I told her "either you become my girlfriend or you stop the drama" - the full story is in "FR: giving the talk to J [read and feedback]"

I think Detox had the right idea here, I was able to read your other post. A simple "Haha good morning" reply would have at least side stepped the x5 clinger she's rolling at you.

But you opened it up to "the talk", so I guess [/b]YOU need to decide if your going to go exclusive. Or go NEXT!

true. Honestly, I like this girl a lot. I think we are a very good match in a lot of ways.
part of why I went for the talk is that one side of me wants to go exclusive.
the other part was just being fed up with bullshit drama. I thought it would take longer for her to break down under the pressure of jealousy.. it happened much quicker than I had expected.

If I go exclusive I will certainly set a bunch of rules and it will be a while before I fully trust her..
part of me is tempted to go next though..
