What if the HB by some nature (bitch shield or no) Negs or insults you back when you use a neg on her? Or she runs the hoop theory on you, refusing to qualify herself and turning it around again? How do you break down a girl when essentially she operates as a PUA herself?

A neg is not an insult.
If she negs you back take it as an IOI, and play it from there.

If she insults you, she's saying she doesn't want to play, so switch gears. Something like "You're just saying that because dorks hit on you all the time...I can see you're really a sweet person".

If a girl NEGS you. She's just playing back to see how you react. So be cool and keep the fun going. This will happen often if you go after confident good looking women. So just remember cocky funny and be a challenge because women love challenge.
