Now right now I am not really into any arts, never played a guitar or any instrument, I don't write poetry, I don't draw or paint.

I want to get into it though not just for girls but mainly for myself. What do you guys think would be a good way to ease into it, I figure trying to learn an instument would take a ton of time and practice which is fine but I would like to start with something easier.

Thinking of picking up a camera and doing some photogarphy. Any art stuff you guys do... and any advice for getting into it.

I'm big into reading short stories. About any genre really. People can see your work read it and give you feedback all in a small amount of time. Try writing some. Just small stories that you think people will like. Then you can also use these as dhv's by story telling them to a set. It'll make you interesting. It never hurts to get into poetry and song writing. Some people that can't sing still write songs just to get a point across or express some sort of emotion. I play guitar and that's def. Something you gotta work at. It seems like you like music so try to dive into a genre of music that your not really appealed to. It widen your taste and let you know more about art expressed through sound
Good luck and remember that art is what seperates us from all creatures in this world
Yours truly,
Dangerous

I used to paint for a while, but I got quite high standards for myself, so I decided to do something 'worthwhile' for her.
AFCs give flowers and stuff - I give custom-made silk scarfs.
I'm from Germany and they love it. The kicker is also that you give them something lasting that reminds them of you.

... but as a downside - not everyone is into them, but you'll get ur clues.

I specialized in silk painting but it's a trade that is easy to learn in the beginning and doesn't take much effort/time.
But the biggest advantage of it, as compared to learning how to play the guitar is that you don't need to put too much money on the line. > $100 and you're in (including books).

Photography can be expensive when you become serious but you can start with your phone cam.It can be used as a conversation starter if you are creative.

I was into the same boat as you were a few years back. I never played an instrument, painted or anything that had to do with the arts, but I made a decision that I wanted to be an artist. I didn't know what kind of artist but I desperately wanted to find a passion...an outlet to let out my feelings and create.

And one day, it came. After about 2 solid years of trying out different things, spending money on things I was interested in, finding out things I was interested in but not passionate about it, and many different avenues of approach to find my passion. And one day it came.

I now play acoustic guitar, harmonica, write songs, and sing. My inspiration is rooted in the first recordings of American music, Folk and Blues, and I want to keep this tradition alive. Its my passion and I found it, or it might have found me.

The thing you have to do is try it. Whatever you feel compelled to do. You have to have 20, 50 100 things in your interested in, and then 1 of them might grab you. 1 of them you will love so much you will know once you've found it. And thats what passion is. Then you'll discover yourself gladly and happily working on your craft for 18 hours a day and do it again tomorrow.

For me it was a journey, but man it was a journey worth taking. I hope you find it, and you know when you will. Don't give up either, I seriously thought I wasn't going to find anything I was passionate about. But I kept going. And I started kinda late. Im 27. And I started playing at 26. Im a year strong in it. And I haven't looked back.

One last thing...Keep an open mind, it'll take you a long way.

Best
