I am finding it easy to get numbers in the street, and at bars, clubs.

From your opinion, would you say its best to call the girl the following day or text her...

If you text her what kind of texts would send, let me know some examples if you have some?

I go ahead and text within a few hours of leaving her after I get the number. Typically closer to about half an hour after I leave her and I have her number. I might say anything from pleasure meeting you... I can't believe we both like gangsta rap... or anything to put a smile on her face.

From there I call the next day. There is a lot of debate on the forum to this stuff and one persons method may not work as well for someone else. I am on the phone as part of my job all day long mostly. It's been that way since I was in car sales and had to be on the phone. Whatever fears of being on the phone are long gone now, and I can really pick up on things talking on the phone so I call.

Some would tell you texting is better. Personally I think her hearing your voice and how you say things is imporant...

Okay I'll get off my soapbox for preaching... I like texting shortly after the interaction to stay on her mind and bring back those emotions from the moments ago when we met. Then I like to call the next day if possible to talk to her for a few minutes and build more rapport/comfort or further where I am in the process.

Just ask her what she prefers, each woman is different sometimes they prefer text, sometimes they prefer call, it really is woman to woman. Careful not to be over responsive and call too soon if the attraction or plans weren't already met.

If you text her text her fun stuff. Look to make her smile, re-touch on the conversation you guys had and remind her why she gave you her number with continued behaviors during your conversation. Basically you want to flirt through text so she is having fun and wants to continue to interact with you.

Every text is situational, if I beat a girl on a pool table who likes to play but loses rarely. I might joke at her "hey you ready for some more pool lessons?"

If you joked about her coming on too strong you might tell her "So I met this chick, but she was hitting on me pretty hard, do you think she'd be a stage 5 clinger?"

If you met at the club and she was a good dancer "Hey happy feet/footloose, you out teaching dance lessons any times soon?"

She talked about her hobby or interest(her passions really) you just comment on it in a joking way so that you can get a response and remind her of why she is attracted to you. This is why listening is so important early on.

You need to make sure whatever you do is congruent with your personality.

I normally send the "it was nice to meet you" text within a few hours. Then a day or two later I have a few texts I normally choose from that have never gotten a bad response. I don't normally call unless it's to set up a place and time to meet, if it's just going to be flirting and silly conversation I just text.
