Can somebody please explain to me and give me some examples of direct & Indirect. Thank you.

DIRECT
guy- Hey, i noticed you from over the street and had to come over and talk, because, to be honest, your gorgeous.

Direct can be used if you don't want to waste time on a long set with the possibility of failing, but does not build attraction in the same way. It also requires a fair bit of confidence.

INDIRECT
guy- Hi, would you say you prefer a guy who lays out his intentions straight away, or one you get to know first.

This does not instantly show your interested and so allows an attraction to build up before the girl decides whether or not she likes you. This is often better for building an actual relationship as opposed to a one light lay. However it can be a time waste as you can spend a fair amount of time on a set to someone who isn't actually interested.

In a sense this is still somewhat leaning towards "direct" since you are asking her general view on dating and she will imply that you mean yourself.

A better example of an Indirect opener would be something as simple as "What are you reading?" or something based on your situation; eg stuck in a long line, or asking where she bought something from.
