Hello guys! I originally started this post on Stylelife, but I want to share it with you too. It's about a series of quotes that I've found, and I try to update them twice or three times a week; I hope that this helps with your inner game. Here are the first posts that I wrote in the other forum:

"Life is scary, get used to it. There are no magical fixes. It's all up to you. So get up off your keester, get out of here and go start doing the work! Nothing in this world that's worth having comes easy" (Dr. Kelso, Scrubs).

"In evaluating people, you look for three qualities: integrity, intelligence, and energy. If you don't have the first, the other two will kill you" (Warren Buffett).

"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world. The unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man" (George Bernard Shaw).

"Who dares, wins" (British Special Air Service).

"Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear" (Ambrose Redmoon).

Haha, I like the 3rd one, cause sometimes I feel like I'm the unreasonable one waiting for the world to adopt to me - unwilling to adopt to the world around me, though I must admit, I sometimes desire to be part of the world I see around me, and when I do take part in it, I quickly remember how mundane it can become and how I want to change it to so that everyone in it is playing by my rules (fair rules) rather than having me play by their rules. I think that's one of the problems with being part of a social circle, is that you have to play nice and according to certain norms otherwise they'll think you're a freak, crazy, delusional, an ass, out of touch, or weird. Better to create your own world, where you can be who you want to be while having others accept you for you, cause its your mother fucking world. They are the guests. Not you.

But seriously, thank you for the quote by George Bernard Shaw. Knew I wasn't completely crazy.

I'm glad you liked it man, it's always good to help.

Here's tonight's quote:
"An amateur practices until he can get it right, a professional practices until he can't get it wrong" (Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 3).

"Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life" (Dr. David M. Burns).

"You are remembered for the rules you break. Not the rules you follow" (Gen. Douglas MacArthur).

(Now, I'm not talking about robbing a bank; it's more about thinking outside of the box and questioning the established on a healthy basis.)

This one is pretty long, but it contains a very valuable lesson:

"It's not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste a lot of it. (...) They [referring to most people] form their purposes with a view to the distant future; yet postponement is the greatest waste of life; it deprives them of each day as it comes, it snatches from them the present by promising something hereafter. The greatest hindrance to living is expectancy, which depends upon the morrow and wastes to-day" (Seneca, On the shortness of life).

"I know that when you're a teenager, and even sometimes when you're an adult, what sets you appart can feel like a burden, and it's not... and a lot of the time it's what makes you great" (Emma Stone's acceptance speech at last night's MTV Movie Awards).

Go for the things that actually mean a challenge. ;)

That's true man. So here's another quote for tonight:

"I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody" (Bill Cosby).
