This is my first field report, and it is two reports in one! These are my first two true attempts at sarging.

The first sarge was 2 weeks ago and I went out with a friend of mine, his girlfriend, and two other couples. I was dressed up in a navy blazer, dress paints, and a nice purple shirt; I was looking and feeling good. I met up with them at a resteraunt after they finished their diner. After they all complemented me on my dress my friend began ordering drinks. Looking back I should have known better but I did have a few drinks (not enough to get drunk, but a slight buzz). Anyway we move fromt the resteraunt to the club and no one is there! I mean it is empty, and we have to pay $3.00 to get in. It's still early so I'm not really surprised there are not that many people here. People start coming in about 10 minuets after we arive and the music starts to play. I start out just talking with my friends and their girls. My friends go off to the bar and as I am done drinking for the night I stay with the girls. Soon the girls all go to the bathroom and I am all by myself next thing I know this girl is dancing in front of me with a big smile on her face. I'd rate her a hb7. She slides over to me and yells out "I love your suit!" Being that I am not use to being complemented on my dress I just replied with "Thank you." She than initiates kino on my by saying "Give me five!" Of course I followed up with the high five (can't leave a girl hanging!). She asked me to dance and we danced for half a song talking a little but her friends came and pulled her away to the bar (not sure if they were intentionally cock blocking me or not). Anyway I didn't let this slow me down I continued to work the room and by now it was so packed it was almost impossible to see across to the other side of the bar. I was pushed back onto the dance floor and danced with some more girls. I eventullay worked my way to the back corner of the dance floor to take a breather. I'm only there for maybe 5 minuetts when another girl (hb7) comes over and leans against the wall with me. I look at her and smile she smiles back and I just shrugg. Next thing I know she starts to grind on me and of course I recipricate and begin to dance with her. She calls over her friend hb6) and they sandwich me! I enjoy the dancing, but I begin to wonder were my friends are as they are my ride back to my car. I excuse my self from the girls and start to look for my friends. I can't find them anywhere, so I go outside and look for his truck and it's gone! Now if I was furhter along in my skills I may have been able to get some one else to give me a ride, but I end up walking back to my car. Hey it was only a 30 minuett walk in below freezing temperatures and I had nothing to wear other than my blazer, but it was still a good night! This was a great first step in my transformation.

Last night was the next sarge and I went solo. I went to a club in the biggest city close to me (only 45 minuetts away!). I was dressed similar to the way I was for my first sarge this time with Jeans and a light green dress shirt. Based on my last outing things should be good right? Well things started ok I opened a solo girl (hb6) but I wasn't really interested in talking with herso I roled out. And than it happend. AA! I just froze up, and couldn't say anything to anyone else. I said a few words to a couple people but no real attempts. So I moved on to another bar and it was mostly empty. I saw two girls at the bar doing body shots off each other and all the guys in the bar watching them do it chearing them on, but no one approached. I'm not sure why but I said to the guys next to me... "What are these girls expecting tips or something?" They just shook there heads and laughed. With this I walked over to the two girls no one was taling to and said "I wish the two of you could learn to have a little more fun. I think you are really boring." They looked at me with a shocked look on there face and the better looking one (a hb6) said "Really? How about this?" and proceded to really make out with the other girl I rolled out and said to the guys next to them "Some people just really like to show off don't they?" These guys just laughed and asked if I was driving these girls home. I said no but I figured they could find a ride fairly easy. One of the two guys I was talking too said he'd "give them a ride." The hb6 grabbed my arm and said "My she's driving home." and pointed to the girl she was making out with. "We're going home now actually." After she said this she held onto my arm for a little bit (IOI) but I had no interest in a fools mate with one cute drunk girl and a totaly cocked ugo. So I said "All right you two be careful" and turned out letting them go. After they leave I cut out myself and go home. Even with the minor success at the end of the night I consider this night a failure (or a step back) because of being over come by AA earlier in the night.

I will continue to go out and work on myself becasue that is the only way that I will overcome my AA.

i would re-evaluate your friends for ditching you

and when ever you go out, its never a failure, even if you approach only a couple of sets and get nowhere, or AA takes over, at the end of the night you know that shitty feeling and next time you go out you should do everything in your power to make sure it doesnt happen again

That's the best way to accept a compliment. You know you look good. Don't downplay it by saying "oh this old thing? i just threw this together". People don't compliment you to hear you disagree with their comment. They compliment you because they think you look sharp.
Yeah Bro, my worst AA happens when I'm solo. But when I have a wingman I can talk to anybody.

I should mention that my friends said they looked for me for a half hour before they left because they thought I had ditched them....

you know there is a new gadget that just got invented, its pretty pricey but def worth it, a cell phone might have been useful, how about a phone call?
