@ Tay,
Good job...Just be sure not to eat too much fruit (about 2 per day MAC) and not too much seeds (I would say one to two spoons per day)

@Voyrin,
I'll start tomorrow lol

You are awesome for helping us all out, and reply!
Hey i am a vegan, and fell over this article cruising the web, beacuse i have acne/rosacea, anyway..
I found it interesting, and have started today, only eating broccoli and water.
Is there any other things i can eat?
Side effects: Slight headache, and dizzyness
Btw, to get in 1500 Cals. only by broccoli, it takes 3kg broccoli lol !
Thanks

@filmskurk,

You're doing good except that you're not eating STARCH
Please reread my directions
You have to have a diet based on STARCH (just from potatoes or carrots...beets if you have the money)
You cannot survive off broccoli alone
The headaches that you're getting are not from detox but from lack of nutrients!

@Corp,
Bro, you need STARCH
Reread my directions carefully
Your diet should be based on POTATOES or CARROTS...at least a carrot at every meat

Once you do your 3000 cal diet, make sure you don't eat a shit lot of nuts...too much protein = too acidic of a body

Well, my parents have dragged me to a dietitian now.

The dietitian was all like "you won't get calcium, or iron with this diet" and said I need to have dairy, and if I don't I HAVE to take a blood test and be given supplements.

My current diet is potatoes, carrots, sweetcorn, sometimes broccoli/kale, sometimes meat like mackerel or lamb. I sometimes have fried eggs in the morning too if there's no potato leftover as it's quick.

Got another appointment in 3/4 weeks. What do I tell her and her 'dietetics degree'?

Thanks

Hey guys, I just thought I'd add I haven't tried this diet just come to add my opinion as nutrition is one of my fields of expertise. This diet is not good for you at all. the word "diet" should be scraped from the English dictionary.

If you want to change your physique by loosing fat etc then you need to change your eating habits entirely. Make a lifestyle change. I advise anyone to buy a book called Sports Nutrition by Anita Bean. It tells you everything you need to know, there to much in there for me try and explain to you. All I'm telling you that is this diet is extremely bad. I'll try and explain a lil bit:

For a start you need to know how all of these are stored in your body:

Fat: 1 gram = 9 calories
Protein: 1 gram = 4 calories
Carbohydrates: 1 gram = 4 calories
Alcohol: 1 gram = 7 calories

Fat is stored in your body as a long term energy source, so it will only get used when your doing something over a long period of time i.e. jogging 8miles at a slow steady jog.

Protein is NOT stored in the body, it is used to repair damaged muscle tissue. However, when not enough glycogen (glucose) is stored in the body it will start breaking down protein into glycogen. The problem with this is that now protein isn't getting used for what its supposed to be. So in a sense your muscle tissue would start to deteriorate and over time you would begin to become skinnier.

Carbohydrates is stored in your body as glycogen (energy). It is used to fuels your muscles and your body with everyday activities a certain amount of it also used in the liver to maintain blood sugar levels.

Your also binning many vitamins and minerals by depriving yourself of dairy products your not providing your body with calcium and iron.

The reason your feeling bad and tired is because carbohydrates are what fuel your body with energy. Every body is different, they have different genetic makeups so some people have faster/slower metabolic rates than others and everybody lives completely different lives so everyone is going to need different amounts of Fats, Protein, Carbohydrates.

Now if you was to lie still for 24hours straight your body is still burning calories i.e. to pump blood around the body and keep your body working the way it does. The amount of calories to keep the average male body still (lying there 24 hours) would be around 1000-1200 calories (I cant remember the exact i just know its somewhere around these figures i don't have my book with me). So if you don't even supply your body with the enough calories to fuel your activities your going to be feeling tired, fatigued and also have extreme mood swings.

I could go on but I'd be re-writing Anita Bean's novel. All I'll say is nutrition is an extremely important thing, don't believe everything you read, get the information from a source you know you can trust.

This wasn't me having a go I tried my best not to make it seem that way I was just trying to help educate you guys a little bit in this area.

I have been Vegan (no meat, no dairy, no egg) for 4 years now and have cut out junk food. And feel 100 times better but the 2 things that i have noticed above that which make a huge difference in my energy levels are:
1. cutting out gluten
2. every meal being at least 50% raw

1. Eat fruit as well (i eat lots and lots of fruit)
2. Eat starch veggies as well (my preferred starch is sweet potato)
3. Try eat mostly raw (cooked food drains energy)
4. Eat nuts and seeds (more explained below)

Keep in mind with Raw/cook:
Before 1930s it was found that your white blood cells go wild and produce more whenever you have an infection, bacteria, virus, etc. this was termed leukocytosis.
Strangely enough leukocytosis happened whenever subjects ate food. This was considered normal for awhile. but How is it normal for your immune system to attack your food? In the 1930s new findings showed that leukocytosis only occured with cooked food and not raw. when you cook food, parts of it become unrecognizable and your body responds to that. + you destroy many nutrients.

Keep in mind with nuts:

1. Beware of mild mold growth, (they stored for long and start growing mold)
the mold will drain you energy and immune system

2. Raw nuts are not so easy to digest and also drain energy
-you can roast them but then dont have all the nutrition. cooked food will activate leukocytosis, draining energy too.
-The best option is to sprout them because then they are raw and they break down themselves to give nutrition to the new plant (but you eat it instead... NOm NOm NOm)

3. High fat content
i have never had an issue with the fat in nuts but then again i only eat about 2 hand fulls of nuts per day. i stay healthy and low body fat with that.
someone else might have more to say on fat in nuts

Sorry Dolph!n. Been there done that. nutrition is not that simple. We have to deal with false info and studies spread by large corps and marketing campaigns.

I not going to go into why dairy is so bad for you. look it up (im sure some people even discuss it on youtube if you want to get the just ideas)
for years i have had blood tests done and im not lacking in anything. + im a martial artist and have huge impact to by bones and teeth (street and ring) and no breaks.

Most anemics are meat eaters btw. very rarly is iron deficiency actually the case in anemia, even though most docs will claim that without any proper nutrition training/study.

It is hard to go vegan because of the way the world runs but if done properly with all the facts you can be extremely healthy.
Studies even show increase in performance. Sexually and endurance wise on sports fields (no difference in strength)

Drastically reduced chances of the worlds deadliest diseases and problems.
e.g. cardiovascular disease.
I cant even catch a flu if tried (2 of the girls im currently sleeping with are sick)

A huge factor in these departments is also stress
when stressed your body does not digest or absorb its food properly so it does not matter what you eat if you stress you going to be ill.

Stresses: (these things stacked up will cause bad health)
lack of sleep
emotional stress (fight with lover. AA)
physical stress (injury)
shocks (scary movie)
loud music and fast beats

i want to thank from the bottom of my heart to the creator of this thread and everyone involved, especially the previous post, since this diet has helped me a long way, not a lot socially as for now, but on the other hand, taking on it improved my health a lot.

One question, yesterday i was in the 3 day of diet, and i got lots of trembling and serious trouble trying to fall asleep (actually delirium), and i ended eating a little handful of amaranth. Since this is a pseudo-grain with moderate sugar i wanted to ask, is and additional purpose of this guide, besides to avoid celiac allergies, lowering the amount of sugar in the blood? Since i used to be a sugar abuser, maybe i was feeling serious withdrawal symptoms. Have i failed on the diet? It is normal to feel different, yet lots of more aggressive and hungry on the 4th day?

Thank you

@thespikez

bro, if you wanna lose weight, go out for a jog. You wont lose a lot of weight in 11 days based on only dieting.

P.s if you're good at game then you really don't need looks.

To answer your question.

what you can eat is any veggie.
Any fruits but don't eat a lot of them. like up to 3-4 a day max
DO NOT eat anything with wheat or dairy. (almost everything has them, read ingredients and check online before eating something you doubt.)
You can google things with "gluten + *food*" to see if the thing you want to eat is gluten free or not.
Eat a lot of potatoes and carrots for starch, they give good energy that you need.
and Don't eat anything processed. You can eat eggs if you want to.
