So I would summarize what I had been doing past 4 weeks...

That was different. I approached her more natural than other guys. The other guys were too obvious and too direct. Yes direct approach works with some girls who are more open, Caucasians, Blacks, Hispanics or Asians who grew up here but otherwise they'll find you funny but you won't get anywhere. Guys, you need to know girls' fashion quite well to be able to tell what kind of approach you should make. Especially when you're approaching Asians since girls who grew up in Canada or US can be approached direct as I said, but girls who grew up in Asia? They're more reserved and they won't respond the same way.
I'm not saying they don't like funny guys, but that's not enough with these girls. Otherwise you'd just be one of these "Asian freaks" or "Asiaphiles" they call behind your backs, lol

The most natural ways to meet them
-House parties
-Language school parties
-Language exchange groups
-At school
somewhere social so that you can talk to at the beginning without raising their defense. But of course these are not options available for many of you guys probably. Actually I don't do language exchange at all anymore, when I was younger I did just for socializing though. But as long as you don't look like you're there only for pick up, you can exchange contacts and ask them out very easily. The only con is that you'd only meet up one specific nationality and the others who are into that culture.
Language school is actually very target rich since most of them stay only for like 3-6 months and they want to make friends to go out with. You just need to meet one or two to get invited, and they're usually happy to meet guys like us so they can practice the language they're learning or show them around the cool spots in the city. Then you can hook up with them or go to their parties and hook up with their friends. It can be a guy who goes to language school too. They don't have many friends outside their school since they've been here only for a short while, so they'd invite you to events at a very high probability and everyone will be interested in getting to know you.
House parties, needless to say, are good. You have a common friend or some kind of chain of friends which connected you together so the defense goes down and if you don't know someone there, it's only natural to go introduce yourself. But you have to talk to guys too, so you won't look that desperate. Just show that everyone around you is having fun, then you can approach all the girls you want.

So I met Asian9 at a house party. There is no twist to this one but among all the other guys who approached her that night, she picked me. That's because any house parties I go, I can get in the center of the party without looking like an attention seeking bitch. That gets even easier if there's another cool guy beside you. My all time wing V got a cute girl 8 after his ass from the same party but he hasn't gone out with her since he's busy with another girl these days.
Asian9, I invited her for Old Port just a casual thing. For girls from out of town, Old Port is a good place to invite. They love the place, and it can lead to romantic situations which in my case did. Especially for Asian girls, Old Montreal is a good place to take since for them it looks like they've gone into the scenes of romantic movies they've seen before. Yes Old Montreal doesn't look anything like anywhere in Asia.

In case you have no chance but to do a cold approach with Asian girls, better do it when they're are not alone. They're less defensive when they're not alone and you can befriend a few at the same time then you can narrow it down later.
Making fun of them at the library saying something like, "It's true what they say, Asians are hard working people. Look at you with these thick books." works well too.
Somewhere non-threatening is the key. Ice cream stores or frozen yogurt places are actually easy place to approach girls since they're usually in good mood at these places.
In the clubs, you approach their friends first and get comforts so she'd see you as non-threatening. If her friends are dancing all crazy and she seems left alone, then that's the easiest time to pick her up, just tell her dancing crazy like that is actually fun and she needs to try at least once.

I am turning thirty this summer...not to worried about getting old as my yoga practice keeps me looking young and fresh haha.

Finally nice summer days have come to enjoy the great outdoors, why not take the pick up out there as well?
I like spending time outside, being active. That actually looks good in girls' point of view usually, especially if you look like you're having fun at the same time. -Joining girls doing activities, always a good idea. But you better summarize the situation at the beginning; they won't like it if you intrude them having fun. You better get in before they start having too much fun.

This works better with passing soccer ball at each other or playing catch since it's hard to control frisbee in perfection.
