I'm very interested in trying this diet out for 10 days. I just have some questions.

I am trying to put on weight(bodybuild) and would be targeting 3k daily calories.
What would my staple foods in this diet be to achieve this?

As I understand no dairy products (milk, yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese) or bread, pasta, bagels, cereals.
Would soy or almond milk be acceptable?

You say your main foods would be a raw potato and carrots. What other veggies and fruit do you eat numbers?

Drink unlimited amounts of water?

Do you take a multi-vitamin? Fish oils?

I was under the impression the raw food diet was not cooking your foods at high temp, so is boiling grains such as quinoa out of the question?

Do you have any external links of the diet your talking about?

Thanks for the help.

Hey man, just a quick question... you mention taking in less fruits, why is that?
I understand that they're mostly water based and therefore can't be too filling
but like are they alright to eat or is it that they have to much glucose or something?

I'm trying to get into this kind of lifestyle but i'm studying culinary so i can't exactly
cut out some foods that i have to be cooking for others, haha. but i do try to reduce
as much as possible my wheat and lactose intake, and increasing my veggie intake
similarly... but yeah man, this fruit thing has got me wondering, like what is it that
makes you advocate against em?

Also, have you ever read about Zen Macrobiotics, cuz if you haven't i think you would
really enjoy it and if you have i read about it when i was living back in China and it's
something the Japanese have been doing for thousands of years and all of asian
culture has some of this influence of how a healthy diet can cure ANY
disease/affliction and people don't really understand that... i think it's really cool
because they have this entire philosophy based around the idea that with the right
state of mind and healthy diet you could live forever, crazy huh? but yeah man, hope
to hear from you soon so you can clear my doubts.

Thanks for the help bro, Clowd

It is very simple really! Tens of thousands of years ago there were no processed foods and 90% of what humans consumed was Meat! the other 10% came from what berries/fruit/vegetation could be scrounged up. There was no heart disease, fat people, etc...If you eat like a caveman you will find more of your natural alpha male coming out. We are all just animals, only problem is that humans have lost the ability to see things with their instincts because they are clogged up with the processed chemicals.

Good post! Peace...

@ Voyrin,
Well mate, at least you try! I guess you are not wheat intolerant
At least you lost some weight right?
Btw, are you consuming a lot of sugar? like from fruits or soda?

@ karli,
I pretty much eat the same food everyday...
I do a stricter of just raw vegetables so I would not recommend that for you.
Just focus on eating mainly potatoes and carrots, any green vegetables, and a piece of meat, any, the size of a deck of cards.
No process foods (AKA food that comes in a box), no milk, no candy, no soda...

@IDirty,

To bulk up: potatoes and lot of meat, since you work out it is okay for you to eat more protein

Almond milk is okay
Soy is not, not because it's not gluten free but according to Men's Health magazine that the worst food for men because it increase estrogen...a big no no when it comes to body building (estrogen is what gives boobs to women)

You DONT have to eat raw potatoes or carrots, feel free to boil them. I just do that for other reasons. I eat mostly cabbage and celery. Mostly a bowl of cabbage and 2 sticks of celery...about 2 potatoes 4 carrots a day...sometimes less
NO fruits really...maybe one a month

Yep just water, just DONT drink 2 liters...you will get water toxicity

@ClowdHopper,
The fruit of sugar is fructose, is not good in high amounts. A lot of raw vegans do the 80 10 10 diet where they eat up to 20 bananas a day and they are scrany and anorexic as hell.

potatoes and carrots on the other hand, have starch as it's main sugar. The liver stores it for conservation of energy...Like look up MCdougall, the doctor. He can explain better than me

You must do eat milk or wheat. Reducing them will help but it wont really achieve its full potential

Never read that book but I will. Nevertheless, I already believe that diet can cure just about 90% of illness, especially mental ones

I go to the gym 3 days a week and I guess this detox period would be really difficult to go through since my energy levels initially would be crap but I am willing to try it
stupid question but, no whey protein shakes are allowed?

@Tay

Bro protein shakes fuck up your kidney and are unnatural and fucked up in every way possible. Ok it gives you muscle but... is it worth it in the end if they're kinda fake?

The reason I am using it because I can't force myself to eat enough chicken/egg whites for effective muscle building. Building muscle is a big part of self confidence I think.
Anyway, is says it does not contain gluten, but it's still made from milk isn't it? So i guess it is not safe to eat?

Im going to give this a try but im somewhat skeptical. Not because you didnt give enough information, you've made i clear you know your shit, but I keep hearing from different sources new radical diets that will completely change your life. Some diets like these akin to atkins, or the caveman diet. Others would say not to eat meat because of the negative energy associated with the body when it is slaughtered (dafuq?)

This idea of having a caveman diet inorder to relive my natural caveman alphaness seems to make sense, its just all these diets and concepts in one way or another postulate that everything I have been doing in my life so far has only been a hinderance to me, aside from going to the gym. (especially jerking off to porn, which ive gone a month without)

Like i said im gonna give this a try cause it seems promising, i just dont know how im gonna live without cream in my coffee.

Questions:

-Can i eat honey?
-Dont potatoes and beans have carbs?

@ tay,
Yep, no whey...whey is milk
However, you can get hemp or rice protein powder

@Voyrin,
Dude you should give it a try with no candy...you might be consuming to much dextrose

@applesauce,
btw, how does not jacking off feels like? I've been trying to do it but can't make it past 3 days...Im hoping it increases my sex drive

You can eat honey but don't go overboard...you want to replace the sugars in your body to starch...honey i think it's straight glucose.....like 2 spoons a day should be good

Potatoes and beans have carbs...the potatoes have the right kind
I don't eat beans nor grains but give a go

I'll give it a shot again this summer, once my exams are over.

and to answer your question about masturbation.

first.. you get erections ALLL the time, without any reason what so ever.

second... you get even more erections when your doing anything with a woman, if you hug her... God be with you.

third.. you will feel stressed, uncomfortable and annoyed pretty fast and often. But i controlled myself to stay cool.

What's really awesome is that you're never not horny... NEVER.

It's not hard for me to not masturbate because I got the will. You would need it too.

That's why I also followed the diet with no problem. It's really simple, just don;t masturbate, nothing to it. Control your mind over your body.

If i was lactose intolerant wouldn't I get symptoms when I drink milk? I used to drink milk everyday before going on this diet without having any kind of effect. I know lactose intolerant people usually throw up or have gas after consuming milk.
I am on day 4 and I don't really feel any different, maybe just a bit less energy and less motivated to go to the gym. There should still be effects even if I was not gluten and lactose intolerant? since I am not consuming anything processed and body should respond in a positive way.

@Voyrin,
Glad to hear you'll try it again

And that's exactly what I wanted to hear about masturbation! So Long Pornhub!

@Tay,
If you were Lintorelant you would get symptoms. However part of this diet is to remove milk completely for other health benefits.
You should feel like shit for the first couple of day, you're body is goign thru detox. But just to make sure, what exactly are you eating and how much?

What I ate last 5 days: grilled chicken, turkey, sweet potatoes, all kinds of fruits, rice, eggs, vegetables that includes carrots,lettuce, broccoli, cucumbers usually all topped with sun flower seeds.
also since i also go to the gym, and since my carb intake decreased, I started eating more rice than I would usually to replace the cards that I don't get from wheat anymore.

Also maybe I am not going a detox as an average american would is because I was already eating healthy (whole wheat breads, small portions of pasta, barely ever any dessert, no fast food).
