If its a confidence issue one thing that helped me to overcome it is self help books.
I'd reccomend Confidence by Rob Yeung it has some really good tips, it is straight to the point and helps you improve pretty much straight away.
It mentions the Do, Think, Feel cycle of which im a firm believer, it states that what you do affects what you think and therefore what you feel.
for example : you approach and you begin to think more positively and feel good and you can tackle this from any point so if you tell yourself over and over that 'you can do it' you feel better and therefore do better in set
Titanman is spot on the more you approach the better you get and the more you learn. think of it this way an athlete has to train to build their body to become stronger so they can perform better.
