I was leaving class today (college) and I walk past 2 girls from my class. They don't see me and I hear them talking about me and one of them says to the other something like "I know, what a weirdo". I look over for a second and turn away and keep walking. They see me and are like "omg omg" etc. I walk to my car and one of them is following me calling my name. I don't turn around, get in my car, look at her and wave, then leave. I actually found the situation funny as it seemed to be pulled right from a chick flick.

Anyway, how would you guys respond to something like this?

I would have actually turned around when she was calling your name and said "may I help you?"

Next time you see them, I wouldn't say anything to them, but watch their body language closely. If they look uncomfortable, move yourself closer to them and smile. If they look not bothered, just ignore them.

well for one, i think the girl may have been calling your name to appologize or somethin, but i think you made a good call by getting in the car. HOWEVER, i think you shoulda addressed this when walking by. be cocky funny. it's still confident. dont act insulted, act the way you felt, amused.

Yea, I definitely think she was going to apologize, that is why I kept walking. I don't need to hear her apology so she can feel better about herself. Honestly I didn't have a comeback for it and felt that to keep walking like nothing happened was best.

If they bring it up I'm just going to be like, "oh, you were talking about me?"

Try shaking your head at them and rolling your eyes. If they call you a weirdo again then say,"Hey hows that big rash you got on your ass I hope it's better." Make sure you say it really loud so everyone can hear what you said, and when they say,"I don't have a rash." Then you respond, "O shit I shouldn't have said that around everybody laugh and walk off."

I had a girl at aplace i used to work talking about me being wierd (and i was very weird then) to others, i came around the corner and walked into it.

Its funny they all stopped talking and looked like they saw a ghost, and i then said...

ME: "Looks like you guys were talking about me, if i continue to be this entertaining im gonna want to get paid for it."

Then i walked away to continue being weird.

Needless to say the one who was talking about me was hanging all over me at the next get together...her husband wasnt happy.

i look at it this way love me or hate me but make sure you spell my name right and second i have always said people never talk about the "normal" or quiet people in the world so i take both as a compliment i would of turned around and since i am on your mind anyway you want to go shoot pool or something 8)
