Hi.

I usually have high confidence. It sometimes shifts between medium and high. Which is good because it used to be low all the time. So when it comes to women I have a high confidence but it's my future I'm worried about.

I'm 18 and still in high school. After next summer, when I'm 19, I'm going to enlist. In my country there is a program in the army where you go to school for a year and become a sergeant, but you have to stay for another year. The last year is mandatory.
After that I might stay another year so I can go to Afghanistan or wherever there is a conflict :) Not doing this to DHV with the girls at the bar of course, but I've always wanted to be in the army for a few years.

After the army I want to start a business. I'm planning on using a lot of the money from the army to start it. Doesn't have to be a billion dollar company. But I want it to be making enough money so I can go off on adventures. I know one of the key points in becoming a successful entrepreneur is a positive attitude and believing in yourself. I do.
But some days I wake up and think to myself like ''What if my plan is too unrealistic?'' ''What if I won't make it?'' ''What if I will end up like a failure because my friends went to business school and I enlisted?'' Is there any way to gain a little more confidence in my plan?

listen to some confidence building material

Dryer, Robbins, N. Hill, nightingale, B. Tracey, Susan Jeffers

your self doubt is of your own creation and your greatest regret will always be not trying. Failure is fine, not attempting your goals is not acceptable.

One of the key elements in being a successful entrepreneur is being willing to fail. Most successful entrepreneurs have more failed businesses than they can count. But like a successful PUA, they learn from their mistakes and try again, because that's just what they do.

Don't be afraid of failure, be afraid of giving up.

Hey man,

sounds like you have defined it pretty clearly.

About your issue - I think probably 98% of people never in their life really decide what they want. So you, by clearly defining what you want fit in the top 2% of people in the whole world.

As for worrying about failing at your plan - listen, there is some weird power when you can clearly specify what you want. And if you are serious about getting it, the gate of access will be granted to you.

As for the failing itself, you really can't fail if you think about it- you can always try again, and again, and again untill you succeed.

For your friends laughing at you- you need to think about this like this: Are they going to pay your bills? Are you living your life for your friends, or for yourself? You are the only one responsible for what it's going to happen in your life. And at the end of your life, when you'll be on your death bed thinking about your life - if you don't do it, you're going to have regrets. But if you do it, you will know that you did what you wanted to do in your life.

And nobody will be able to take that away from you.

Hope you found this answer useful.
