I am no PUA. but what I have been reading shows me that the idea has some merit. Playing her games but taking it from her. then leaving with a gift following him. she would think about him makeing it easer next time.

wowwwwwwww. I am quite impressed... a lot. Welll regardless whether this was scripted or not.... but THATS HOW YOU FUCKING DO IT GENTLEMEN.

I do have to say though... this actually ONLY is effective at "Local" places, where there is a possibility of running into each other again. Otherwise, he generated interest but they might never see each other again. I am talking about fast-paced places, in which this pickup would not be effective.

...but my good lord did he dominate the conversation. very intellectually done.


OK. Basic breakdown: First of all GREAT observation skills, he picked a target that was waiting and bored. He walked over with a Martini and got cut off. So his plan got a little messed up, but it actually worked towards his advantage when the guy got shut down. Target had a high BS Shield that AFC could not break ( really bad convo / lines by the way by AFC). Smith waited for the perfect timing and rescued the target. He disqualified himself by actually stating he was not like the other guys, built curiosity by his short story telling / intro. He disqualifies himself again by letting her know that he has a potential interest in her. HE GIVES HER AN OPTION (Girls with high BS shields, love this BTW), implements a bit of humor and original 3rd person convo. and BAM she BITES by giving him the IOI (stating her name). Thats when he FTC's = more attraction. and now the games can begin


edit: by the way you guys are picking up the wrong clues. its really not the LINES, or the drink that you should be thinking about. Really its all carried over from his confidence, charming approach. Great body language etc.... the DRINK has nothing to do with this whole pickup. he could have really left it out

edit2: Ok sorry guys. I just love watching these clips over and over again and analyzing them. I picked up a few more things. He is actually doing OK. I can see WHY he is IODING her so much now. Basically, he is smart. Every move was thought through. He read that she always gets attention bla bla bla ... so he is doing the EXACT opposite. Would the guy have not approached, I betchu money W.Smith would have nclosed that T and gone a whole different route.

and I do have to criticize him a bit for questioning whether she would be interested in him or not. I would never do that. It is assumed by my game and the way I come across. I am more aggressive / confident like Ryan Gosling or Cajun.
W.Smith was very defensive.

Edit. do you think he was defensive to take away her option of defence? Im new to the game so any info helps. I want to be a master soon so i can go to japan and see a dear friend.

I bet this was scripted by MPUA's but its a great example to analyse. A couple of good things stand out.

He was honest about his approach by saying it must be difficult for a guy to approach her, which was also a great opener as it was relevant while also getting some sinsarity in there

He demonstraits value with his observations and vibed with her (chip didnt do this) . . but he didnt forget to be playfull in order to buid attraction with the "fuck of" joke

he qualified her by asking questions relevant to the topic in this case guys approaching her

before he left he made an emotional connection

Chip didnt do any of this because he ether got it wrong of overcooked it although he was following the basic principles

Things I would question however . .
try doing that in a night club and you wouldn't have a chance so in that case i gues it was calibrated right

buying a girl a drink? really?

no sexual escalation or touch? but again maybe not appropriate for that kind of scene and if they had shown a PUA at work in a real bar with a full blown 1 minuet zero to close it would make will smith look like a player and no girl would have watched the film lol =P

ya of course. the setting makes a huge difference on how you run your game.
