So I went out with this chick for lunch. From the beginning she told she wasn't looking for anything but I though oh well, might just have lunch with her anyways. The lunch was good, I teased her a bit, we had some good laughs, had some good kino, hugged her goodbye. Two days later I text her with a neg which didn't go over too well and now she is ignoring me. Any ideas on how to recover from this one or is this a lost cause?

My text: I asked her if she was pregnant because of a joke we had going during lunch about her ear vein popping out. She said we are done talking!

negs in text never pan out very well. You have not control over inflection or tone or pace. Also negs are ment for openers not contiguous negs . Or if your trying to regain the conversation. I would take this as a learning exp and just move on.

Agreed, this set is blown. I'm onboard with Sonicvega, negs are used in the initial attraction phase, going backwards from comfort doesn't make sense. Texting is just a means of keeping in contact until you see her again. Real game is done face to face.

I think I know where you REALLY messed up You are putting the emphasis on yourself and exacerbating that it was your fault. What I'd have done instead is try to flip it on her, like she's over-reacting. Something like "Here I was thinking you were fun/could take a joke (either or), guess I was wrong "
You are effectively then saying she isn't very fun/can't take a joke, but the wink at the end makes it so it doesn't come off as you throwing a hissy fit.

Ill be watching for updates . Best thing you can do is pretend like it never happened and continue to do what your doing . And remember when throwing a neg use a neg calibrator. Meaning if you neg follow up with a quick compliment or vice versa. Thats why its hard to neg on a text.
