| Hey guys, I seem to be able to open well, make a small hook get them laughing, but then somehow I keep getting back to resume style questionnaire between both of us. Once I have realised this I can't seem to find ways to get out of it. Or transition into something else.
Here is an example of one that happened recently. This was a random girl I have never met before. Gorgeous model, I am really interested.
Me: Hey, we spoke to each other briefly last Saturday, right?
HB: Hey,
Oh probably Ha,
I don't remember much
How are you going?
Me: Ha ok. I can't complain, yourself?
I thought we briefly said something to each other at [some location]. No?
HB: that's good,... Yeah I'm alright, just finished work.
Oh, no, that wouldn't have been me then, I wasn't at [that location].
Me: Nice, where about do you work?
Ha! Okay. Well you have an evil twin out there then!
HB: I work at [place of work]
Haha oh okay....
Me: That's cool. I put apple stickers on apples for a living, repetitive work really.
HB: wow, sounds like everydays a challenge. Haha
Do you like putting stickers on apples?
Me:I think you have to love it. Tiring though.
HB: oh I bet. How old are you?
Me: I'm 18, yourself?
HB: I'm 16. Almost 17.
Me: Cool, where about do you go to school?
HB: I go to [name of school], where did you go to school?
As you can see I am a master at transitioning into the resume style questions, I know it could have been avoided. To me it seems like she is also interested by the amount of questions and how quickly she responded. Is there somewhere I can go from here, with just saying "Yeah I go to [blah blah blah], where do you live and shit". Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, even examples of how some of you have succeeded with online game would be great for motivation and tips.
