Now, I recently moved to Israel (where I was born) and a lot of people are setting me up with friends etc. It is a big thing to do here. So I get these great girl's phone numbers. For instance I was just given a phone number of a girl to call that is getting her Ph.D in Biology and is from a great family. Very high quality girl. So I don't want to just seduce her. I would like to have a long term relationship with her.

Any advice on 1) what to say when I call her 2) where to go 3) how to act 4) how to be humble yet show that I am also intelligent and knowledgeable about biology etc. 5) how to get her to fall in love with me.

Aren't those types of blind dates done in hopes that you eventually get married? Its not like a friend setting you up I aassume but families and all that who wouldn't like one night stands or whatever with marriage prospects. ???

When I go on blind dates, i diffuse the situation immediately. I tell the girl 'look, blind dates are always awkward, how about we just enjoy ourselves, try and have a good time and whatever happens, happens, okay?'

Then I try to suss out her personality, do all the little tricks, etc. seem clever and fascinating, etc.
