Should I eat the potato skin? I usually have it mashed but I can boil/bake them if it's better.

PUA LUCKY . . .

7 days in and feeling better. Hard to say if it's a placebo effect or not (I don't want to get my hopes up, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired!!). Anyway, I've been having some weird bowel movements. It's almost like diarrhea ad it comes out pale. Some times the stools themselves look fatty looking. Is this a normal detox phase?

We've kinda been over this before but I wanted to ask you if you knew of a comprehensive and all inclusive list for no casein/no gluten foods. The reason I say this is because I want to avoid all the hidden gluten/casein in food products. i.e. Companies that make gluten free wine, gluten free sauces and marinades, canned foods, etc. . .

Yep, that's normal...thats usually whats been in your intestines for a while and your b body did not have the time to clean it up because you kept eating shit...now that you're eating health your body can focus on cleaning up the shit

After research for 4 years what foods contains gluten, Ill will tell you it is impossible to memorize a list. but if you follow this rules you will NEVER eat gluten:

Eat only meats and vegetables you buy in a supermarket. DO NOT USE ANY KIND OF SAUCE. Tabasco is ok but if meat its too plain you can look up gluten/casein sauces...I don't eat meat so I wouldn't know
You can use any regular spice. BY regular, I mean the one that are only one herb or spice, not the ones that say "Seasoning"

If you buy anything that comes in a box or it is process, don't eat it...is that simple

YOu shouldn't focus and what You CANT eat, focus on what you CAN eat

also any beans, lentils, rice are okay too
I heard some people can't handle rice cux it is somewhat of a branch of wheat but I don't think you should worry about it

As far as alcohol, I can tell you're a drinker so I urge to look it up online...but you can drink the following, which are the ones that I drink
Bocardid 151, Ciroc

And as fas as resataurant go, the ONLY thing you can safely eat (because even most cooks don't know what gluten is) is a bowl of RAW VEGETABLES that is...just SALADS....NO DRESSING

It's pretty extreme but it is SOOOO easy after one month it's ridiculous

fruits are okay too, BUT NOT IN A CAN...NOTHING IN A CAN OR A BOX OR PRECOOKED OR PROCCESS...

PUA Lucky. It's been almost 3 weeks and I have to say that I'm not alot better. I'm beginning to suspect that I have really bad hypoglycemia. Is it possible that eating gluten for so long has given me this condition? It seems that no matter how I eat or what I do, carbs in general make me literally feel drunk. I feel deattached and can't concentrate for shit. And after a heavy workout, I feel ridiculously spacey for hours (i.e. really low bloodsugar?) I haven't been eating totally clean. I've been having wine on the weekends, gluten free potato chips every now and again etc . . . But nothing gluten/casein blatantly. Otherwise it's been a lot of quality protein, veggies, nuts and seeds.

Oh and what is your take on coffee? I hear that regular consumption leads to adrenal burnout and can fuck with insulin levels. I use organic evaporated cane juice (no gluten) and regular unflavored folgers coffee.

@accountguy,
For what it seems, even though u have cheated a few time, you have follow the diet.
I don't think you were ever gluten intolerant like me, you are just eating too much iron.
For what you wrote, you said you have been eating a lot of meat and nuts, those are like the main sources of iron...Too much iron, you got anemia and brittle hair. If you ease down on the meat and nuts and seeds, you will be fine.
In fact, I would avoid nuts at all cases, they have too much iron and you cant just eat two or three because they taste so good!
Keep on being gluten free, drink wine...but reduce meat/nut content
I remember you wanted to get big in muscles right? just EAT POTATOES bro, it has a different kind of iron, well vegetables have a different kind of iron than meat that do not get absorb so well, so you got less iron in your body
I would be surprise if you stink too while you sweat, it happened to me too when I went on an all meat diet

This is great advice. I've tried SPAM dieting too and it seems similar, although I didn't do it long. I am going to take this challenge!

@Angelo,
Nah, after that much detox, a tic tac ain't shit
YES, not shiting is a HUGE problem....what the fuck have you been eating dude?!
TELL ME EVERYTHING IN DETAIL, cooked or uncooked
Keep in mind that there is two reasons why you didn't change psychologically or emotionally (B/c the result is that you are happy all the time)
  • 1) You are not celiac intolerant. Not everybody is, that why I said to check the symptoms I have listed.
    2) You ate too much protein. Whether you eat meat or not, eating too much protein does fuck you up. Especially if all you ate during the 10 days was nuts
    you did, didn't you? haha
@Jaropennies,
Soda is okay for this diet, but soda is a very unhealthy product overall...just sugar and coloring. Don't drink soda if you can

@Acid,
NO chocolate is not okay, hahaha, it is milk with cacao beans

@LIfeisLoud,
I don't know exactly what the paleo diet is

@Turlock,
Awesome, remember don't overdose on protein know...you will see no effects, you'll probably feel worse

Ive been eating mostly cucumbers...lettuce...broccoli...and a little bit of chicory.

at the end of the 10 day period i started eating paprikas.

all of this uncooked. sometimes i blended it into a shake.

regarding symptoms:

I had headaches

Loss of appetite( at least for veggies)

a lot of cravings especially for hamburgers/other junkfood.

by the end of the 10 day period the headaches stopped but not those other two.

so nope no nuts at all :)

after this 10 day period I've started adding potatoes, carrots etc. like you suggested.

I also had no URGE to defecate at all...maybe eating all kinds of light food didnt ''trigger'' my colon though I doubt that honestly.

well in any case that problem is over now tho its still kinda hard.

It hs been 16 days since i started...and i am still avoiding wheat and milk products. maybe ill try doing so for another two weeks.

Whats your take on this?

you think I might NOT be celiac intolerant?

if not, I dont really mind...Im kinda glad i had this experience. Thanks for the suggestion

llet me know what you think.
