Hey guys,

I give blood 4 times a year and I've been complimented on it by my ex-gf and various other people, so it's obviously a DHV. However I'm just wondering how I can develop this into a DHV story? I don't want to just blurt it out like Brian's "I like pickle juice" from the PUA on VH1. I'm guessing subtle is best.

I was born 2 1/2 months premature and that is why I give blood, as I could easily have died and it feels good knowing that I am helping other people who are in the situation I was in. Could I used my prematurity story as a way to pad out the blood donor DHV story or would it make me seem weak, almost a DLV, by saying I was premature? (not very Alpha, is it?)

Any advice would be great, guys.

If it's something you feel like you can talk about I would recommend saving it for day 2's as I think that can build comfort. I wouldn't really consider it a DHV myself and It would be very unnatural to me to mention I'm a blood donor in a club or something, And yea like I said if you were to mention it, save it for day 2's
