Amog Fail

I was in set. I had my target hooked and my wingman had his target hooked. I was not locked in. I had my target laughing and we were doing fairly well.
In comes the AMOG. He comes right in between us and puts his back to me. He starts talking to her, I knew they were friends as they were talking on a first name bases and sounded like they knew each other. I introduced myself to the AMOG and he shook my hand and just ignored me while I was talking and he made sure he was between me and my target.
This was a typical guy who is friends with the girl but cant get out of the Lets just be friends zone. So, he cock blocks everyone else.

try to lock in target physically, if amog is not friendly and cuts you off with bodylanguage, return the sentiment to him, don't get mad, but body language wise get in a better position then him with the target, either walk up to her and put your arm around her or lock her in physically (if you have the compliance for this), or walk in front of him, block him and address the target instead of introducing yourself to the amog, get the target to introduce you, ''oh this is your friend, introduce me''

same way you handle external girl inturrupts, always get someone from the group to introduce you, so if the person ignores you and you persist it is a social violation on there behalf and not on yours

if you have a wing he should be looking out for this kind of shit, and handle it for you or you should find another obsticle to occupy him with rather then directly dealing with him yourself, it just makes things easier

I thought this was going to be a story about someone getting punched in the face trying to take out the AMOG !

Hey dude, I had exactly this situation last night. Opened a 5-6set, sat down next to hb9 in this bar and began talking away, things were going well, plenty of ioi's. I said put her digits in my phone but she declined with the "I have a boyfriend" - continued talking for a bit, then I ejected.

I went back in, 20mins later. Long comes the AMOG, Rugby player, but clearly in the friends zone.
I told hb9 to introduce me, don't be rude. She did. Then they had a little conversation and I felt Fu3k1ng BETA!!! I sat in the middle of them both talking. I thought fu3k this, I broke into conversation when I could and began talking to him and ignoring her. She felt left out, I think I left her out a little too much though.

Really I should of escalated by taking her elsewhere in the bar sooner........ thats what I would suggest.
