I come to realize that the reason I failed tonight wasn't because of my game, it was the fact that I worked all day, went snowboarding all of yesterday, and campus was dead, because everyone went home for the holidays.

I was blaming myself at first, but then realized, even though I did open sets and whatnot I'm not much of a night game person. I don't do drugs anymore, I don't drink. and no one likes a sober guy at the party, unless he's driving, which because of my DUI, I can't right now.

I don't know really I think I'm just making excuses, what do you guys think I should do?

Well you could just be out of frame. You might suck at night game... Night and Day game seem to have totally different agendas. But ya, don't make excuses, just improve on your game the next time you go out.
