Posts: 1 | | I joined the forum recently and am going to a night club tomorrow with some friends. I'm 16. Can I get some tips to open and DHV in the club? I'm probably not gonna get lucky or anything since I'm still an AFC, but I'd like some level of success.

Location: UK | | If it's your first go at gaming, don't pressure yourself too much. Aim for little victories like open 2 sets. As a tip I always say go for situational openers, for example if you're at a bar chances are you'll see a girl buying/already with a cocktail, just ask her what one it is and if it's any good. It's a soft opener but good to warm-up with, once you get better at game you'll learn different ways of saying it and how to transition from it (or you might already just have a natural nack to it anyway haha) _________________ "My toughest opponent is always myself"

Location: Johannesburg, South Africa | | My advice is don't be scared to crash and burn. Open all the sets you can. You'll get a feel for what works with kind of person. You'll get over your AA(if you have) and you'll get a lot of experience.
And have fun! People keep forgetting that's what this is about....
