I'm a 17 year old high school student. I want to get a job when I'm 18 (3 months away) but until then I have very little income.

Any suggestions for some cheap or free hobbies?

Also, what hobbies include a lot of women? I can think of yoga and spinning so far :P
Edit: Don't mention working out, already doing that.

Yoga is a good choice but that may empty your wallet depending on where you go.

Seeing how you're still in high school, I'm assuming you live with your parents. Learn how to cook, that will come in handy especially when you go to college.

Working out is always a good idea.

After that, I'd say:

Read books: you've got a library card, right? Girls love a smart guy. It'll give you something to think about and something to talk about. This is probably what I'd be doing in your position.

Creative things will often win you much kudos (but pretty much any skill that you've honed and gotten good at is cool too ): Naturally, learning a musical instrument is actually pretty sexy for most women (it's hard, and lessons can be expensive but if you're genuine about learning it and enjoy what you're doing it's worth it. Your parents may actually be sympathetic here too). Painting or drawing might also be good. Seriously though, girls love it if you've got the ability to create something.

In general though, just find something that you enjoy and do it: forget about what any girl will think. If you can find something that you enjoy and get good at, you'll end up as a more interesting person and the enthusiasm that you feel about it will be completely infectious when you come to meet women. Just don't get so obsessive that you forget about everything else that matters to you.

G: Hit the gym, every girl wants a guy with a sexy body.
T: Go tanning, take care of your skin, don't be way to much white.
L: You gotta do laundry, to keep your clothes fresh.

Go Haircut, get a fresh haircut.
Set your hair up with gel or wax to look good.

These are my advices for you, hope their useful..

The best advice for people at your age is forming groups, creating events, doing sth. that brings and keeps people together.

It increases your value and offers tons of possibilities to meet new girls.

So go ahead and start your local sports group, dancing event or whatsoever.

It may sound clichéd but i did pretty well doing so!

Sport (run, football (soccer!) ...) all costs under 100/year or so
Learn to cook (is good)
Work a bit as a student (=fixes both problems), makes a guy attractive as he actually does something and it solves your I don't have cash problem.
...

Don't get a tan .. it indeed isn't Jersey shore.

You're in high school. The absolute most attractive thing you can do is learn to play an instrument. If you could get a band together and play a few local shows, you're in, no question. In high school I played in a band and we made it to Warped Tour. I was sleeping with, on average, 2-3 girls a week. Most of them would even open to me. It came to the point where (back when MySpace was relevant) I could post a MySpace bulletin about "In (city) need to find someone here to make me feel more comfortable! Who's around and wants to get together?" and get a HUGE amount of girls trying to get with me.

It breaks down like this:
Vocalist/Frontman: 70%-100% Attention (Depending on how attractive)
Guitarist: 60%-90% Attention
Drummer: 40%-70% Attention
Bassist: 20%-60% Attention

Or, alternatively, become a DJ. That's where I am now since dance music was always my biggest inspiration. Both of these only work if you're dedicated to your hobby and try really hard to get gigs. Also, a good way to make some extra income.

Either way, it couldn't hurt to learn guitar or piano or something. Imagine playing acoustically for a girl. Instant lay. I once brought a girl to tears playing an acoustic set for her.

IS there still a such thing as the YMCA? They had everything from BMX Racing to Tae Kwon Doe (or how ever it is spelled).

You can skateboard or something. But to DHV you've gotta be better than most kids.

Snowboarding and surfing are great hobbies too. First of all, nothing compares to the "zen" and relaxation of being "one with nature" and having the freedom to explore all this awesome terrain the world has to offer.

Secondly, they're considered a more "exotic" extreme sport in the sense that not everyone can have the capabilities to do it and those who do usually experience some great locations the world has to offer. Plus it keeps you in shape (especially surfing which is a VERY physically demanding sport)

My friends and I like to race in our cars, girls love that. These girls we've been chillin with lately are 17,18 i'm 20 so they think smoking and shit is cool. So we smoke, race, chill at each others houses, drink, chineese fire drills, just fun stupid shit.
We got kicked out of taco bell the other weekend for absolutely nothing!! I'm mature enough to acknowledged any wrong doing I did, but we honestly did nothing wrong. It made me look like a bad ass though when me and the manager started arguing and I got him so mad he wanted to fight me!!! Even people in taco bell who saw what was going on left and threw there tacos at the door when leaving. So Just having fun is the key, all there really needs to be is a little sexual tension, and a playful environment and i'm always having a good time. I'm not saying do things like a bad boy, which I'm not at all, I just hate authority. JUST HAVE FUN, and if the girl's your don't like what you like, fuck em and find some that do.

Yeah I used to dabble in street racing too but grew out of it. It's not worth the trouble you could get into and I wasn't feeling the car hoes anyway  I'd highly recommend against that. If anything, get into the show car scene. The girls are hotter (especially in the VW/Audi scene), the cars are nicer, but you get way too carried away and start spending dumb money.
