just thought id put this out there too. i did tell some of my girl friends that i went to jail, and that i actually enjoyed it because it was kinda interesting. some of them seemed to respond like it was a dhv, and others, a dlv. but how would it be a dlv?

Because some people would think its a bad thing for different reasons: the humility of getting caught, the lowness of spending a night in jail, etc, etc. Also, it seems to be too obviously bragging when you are saying "it was interesting", or "I spoke with the inmates". What would you speak with them about? Drugs? Rape? What? In fact, associating with inmates itself is a demonstration of low value, since most people would see them as scumbags.

I got similar (mixed) reactions when I told people I got kicked out a club, even though it was just for a minor thing. Most were sympathy, a few were laughter (with - not at me). I preferred the latter response, since I meant it to be humorous.

First off that statement is not DHV or DLV, it is stupid. The stupidity of you telling a stranger such a wierd thing is DLV.

How is that bragging? How old are you? Are you picking up hood rats?

I think you're taking the "badboy" pick up advice to the extremes. I don't really find it useful, I don't think ANY stranger will think that is a DHV, I'd just walk away if a girl I was talking with told me that.
