Every nice place im interested in on craigslist always requires a stupid facking application fee..

My credit and rental history is still fresh. Not touched.
My family members credits is all shit. So noone i know can cosign.
Has anyone gone threw this and explain to me the procedure for renting a first apartment?
I have a good source of income helping my uncle run a shady ass busines.

BTW another way I have learned to get credit is to go to the bank and open a very small loan (like a few hundred dollars) and then put the loaned money into a savings account and just start making payments on the loan. This way when the loan is paid, you have improved your credit. You pay a little bit more, I guess, but I would think it'd be better than to have no credit... Keep in mind this is what the financial advisers that would visit us in business class would tell us.
