Dear All,
I've been learning the PUA world for sometime now and have been honing my skills in the field as much as possible over the course of the last few months. I was never bad at pickup but now i know what to look for any how to play it better. I've still got miles to go to be known as a m-pua but fingers crossed it will come! However, i wanted to share with you a recent f-close from this weekend that just seemed to follow the game perfectly from start to finish.
Ok so quick background. I'm out sarging with a friend in Oxford, UK. pubbing and clubbing. Me and my wingman are trying out various different openers with various different HB's. I finally start chatting to an HB7 who seemed open to being approached. I DHV and slightly negged her and then the converstion got flowing. I gave myself a time limit and managed to n-close for a later date. The next day i called her to ask her out for a drink which she accpected. Ok so date no.1 went really well, we built up common ground and used whatever charms i have. Then when i walked her home i asked her if she would like a good night kiss, to which she replied yes so of course i obliged! (the bit i missed during our conversations was the hook point, i'm still not great on generating that or spotting it).
So we arranged to meet again a week or so later - this time i got pretty drunk but managed to get her back to mine for some more tonsil hockey but encountered LMR so didn't manage to get her into my bed. The 3rd was equally good, and then i invited her round for dinner on saturday night. The thing that struck the biggest chord with this whole sequence of events is the idea of building enough comfort to get intimate. So at some stage she must have become attracted to me, and over the next 10 hours of so of getting to know her, not only did i manage to keep up the attraction but also build up enough comfort for her to want to sleep with me. (I remember reading up that it takes anywhere between 6-12 hours to build that comfort in many cases) Needless to say after the meal she lead the way and we had an awesome night and the next morning ;o)
So there i was laying in my bed on sunday morning with a big grin on my face knowing that it was job well done and now i'm really looking forward to 'seeing her' again. I don't think she is g/f material but she is sweet enough. I just wanted to say a continued thank you to all the PUA's out there who take time to post on this and other forums. It's nice to know we are in this together instead of continuously trying to out compete one another.
