I'm going to use an experience I recently had.

Kiss closed a 9 in a pretty kick ass London nightclub called Koko before christmas. Blonde, eastern european. Pretty cool girl. Anyway was chatting with her on facebook for about 3 weeks. In that time I'd oversold.

She saw pics of a mankini competition I was in at university. She saw pics of me as a child petting a goat on the nose. She saw pics of me hanging out with my family and sister. In her eyes I was starting to look good. I was also amusing as fuck, it's very easy to type out a slew of jokes over the internet.

By the time we'd actually gotten around to having an actual drink together I had a lot to live up to. Now I've done a lot of pretty cool stuff in my life, and if you squeeze all that stuff into someone's impression of me I seem like a hero. But I'm just a normal guy to hang out with. And I think this made the date seem a little boring. Or maybe she was a little dull.

Got an email last night of an 8, pretty, stylish and this posh london accent that makes me melt. Going to keep the pre Day 2 buildup to a minimum and try buildup in person.

Depending on how much you talked to her in those three weeks, you might have simply been not that compatible naturally and since you talked so much before meeting up again, you guys ran out of things to say to each other. Or, as you said, she could have been boring.

I agree though, that it's best to try to get another meeting again soon. Keep things going and it maximizes your chances for developing an in person connection and then being able to parlay that into whatever you want afterwards.
