I approached 5 girls today, open well, but died during conversation. they just walked away, but i kept cool and told them to have a nice day.. and walked out of the set

It felt pretty good today... I almost felt like I overcame any fear of rejection...

(would liek to state I am in a foreign country, but many people can speak english)

Approach: I see five girl standing (circle) at the movie theatre. One of them in off buying tickets.

I walk cooly and slowy and enter the circle like I belong. It was very well executed.

conversation:

me: HI
her: no answer:
Me: you speak english right?
her: no
me: oh ok
her: pause: all her freinds lookng at me
me: then how did you just understand what i was saying ( kino and laugh)

her freinds who bought the tickets, gave me serious IOI before I came over to talk to them and she was coming back with the tickets. Once she saw me I guess she got intimitaed, and turned around and walked away, so did all her freinds at that point.

I just said " well cool, you guys have a nice day"

Turned and walked away, with a look of dissapproval in my eye. I loook back and notice one of the girls looking at me for a good 5 minutes. So i knew she wanted to talk, and also they did speak english.
