i'm sure many of you have seen this typical storyline b4, sorry if something similar was posted before.

heres the storyline : met this girl at club, danced with her through the night, chatted during breaks, asked for her number, she gave it. splitted after club closed.
how should i continue from here if i want to see her again? having a birthday celebration this coming friday at a club with my friends, should i invite her along?
will that seem kind of desperate?

It's the perfect situation to invite her to you're birthday!
It's you're night, you're the man! She'll see all the friends you have, everyone will want to talk to you, cos it's you're birthday, there really isn't any better natural DHV than your birthday party.

Just let her know it's on "Hey listen I know we've only just met but it's my Birthday this Friday and I'm having a bit of a get together with some friends. It's gonna be a good night, so if you're free you're more than welcome to head along, you can bring a few of you're girlfriends if you like, so you won't be clinging to me all night! LOL just kidding. Anyway would be awesome if you could make it, just let me know xxx"

Doesn't make you seem desperate, actually kinda makes her seem like the clingy one, have fun and let us know how it goes.

Thanks man! should i call or sms her? which would be better? for the birthday celebration, only 4-5 of my closest friends will attend (all guys). scared she might feel awkward coming....

Just text her, and I would try to invite some more girls that you know, just to have that contingent of competition.
Otherwise it will feel like teams. You have your team she has hers. But if you don't know any other girls to invite you can easily get passed this just by being the social guy straight away. Make sure everyone knows each other and try remember names. Then maybe get the first round (trust me everyone will be buying you drinks for the rest of the night) and make everyone feel comfortable.
