First time and anxiety hit

Well i made a devotion to start to talk to girls and socialize more often with girls this year. I felt lonely and i feel girls will fit my loneliness.
I started new semester and there was a girl in my class that was attractive 2 me. I said too myself WTH i'm gonna talk to her. So after class i walked up to her and said
"Hey beautiful, i'm *** nice to meet u"
Then the anxiety hit, i didn't know what to say and it felt like i kept on repeating myself. I got her number and txted her back 3 hrs later.
I asked her what she was doing 2nite and asked her if she wanted to come snowboarding. She said she couldn't cause of family reason (which i feel like she made up)
In short i feel like i messed up and gave her a bad first impression. I would like to hang out with her this weekend but i feel like i am taking things to fast since i don't know her.

The important this is that you slapped anxiety in the face by approaching in the first place. That's the first step to being successful in this game.

This is just my personal opinion, but I'd suggest building some comfort with her by talking to her before and after class a few times before you ask her out again. Make her laugh, ask her questions, throw in light kino, and RELAX. This girl is not the end of the world. She will not make or break you.

agreed - you did slap anxiety in the face - you did number close... i wouldnt expect every encounter to be perfect... do this 100 times more and you will be loling at this original post you made.

Oh man, you did great. Keep doing this and anxiety will go away. The only way to lose anxiety is by doing it over and over again.

1 remark though ... next time don't ask her out on the same day. This gives off a vide of desperation. At least wait 1 day. I mean, it is perfect to text her the same day ... but not to ask her on a date the same day you met her.

See the thing is i am confident to talk to her but i can't think of funny stuff to talk to her about. I was asking questions and we had a good conversation.
But for the txting. Is it ok to not txt her for a day since it sounds like i'm desperate?
