Serious question, does ascribing to a PUA mindset eff up natural game? Near the beginning of December, I decided I wanted to be a PUA, yet this has also coincided with a drier-than-normal spell. Yes, I've gotten nice make-out closes, but less F-closes. I've also gotten shot down way more than normal. Has anyone else gone through what seems to be an initiation phase?

Yea I am going through this as well, it's because you start from scratch, but you gain the confidence and strategics and mindset to advance what you had previously because you have your old skills plus the new. Use both as one.

I find that a healthy mix of PUA techniques and natural game work well. Some PUA stuff is just putting shit that naturals do into a definition (ex: I already used C+F, negs, and kino well before I knew the terms for them). As long as you arent using canned material or step by step processes for attraction, you arent fucking up natural game.


I will admit that if I linger around too long on these forums, my game tends to suffer. Theres just way too many differing views on attraction. Take the gems that you learn and put them into practice.

The biggest fuckup for naturals is comming to this site for every question and situation you encounter.

So true with the coming to this site, I feel since I have asked more and more I sometimes am thinking what would a PUA do, instead I should be thinking like my old days I am a fucking boss do what I want. I just missed two fucking amazing chances make that three tonight just because I was retarded.

Sometimes PUA = trying and that comes off as needy. I've honestly given up before and all the women I used to chase felt lonely when they stopped getting the validation. They all come crawling back at once, it's messed how it works. Dry spells with me are a lack of going out. Not being social ect. I had a HUGE blow out recently trying out nlp for the first time. lol She was hot too and I already banged her playing it cool. Then I had to get all "I can turn her on with embedded commands." Right after she flaked me. I should have just froze her out, which I am doing now, but I think I blew it. Oh well, that's what this is all about. Live and learn. Or should I say love and learn

I've tried them all. And use what ever suits the situation. I also have my own.

I walk up and say "Hi" then I go from there. If they show interest I go direct. If they don't I play hard to get.

If they comply I act sweet, if they turn me down I keep my composure, smile and say: "Cool, no problem" and walk away.

My thinking is this... sure they might turn me down. But sometimes they don't. And the ones that do, when they are home and horny. They are thinking of that guy they could have had. Who is now dating their friend. lol.

Mostly what I do is befriend so many girls that it is ridiculous. My style may seem strange but how many guys do you know who can bang two girls that are close friends and each doesn't care, or even two women that are enemies.

I think I'm going to try playing hard to get, you get soooo many initial prospects. But I was finding that as soon as I let on I was interested the in-congruency would scare them off. With direct method, you scare them off early but what happens is you establish yourself as a lover right off the bat. They may resist but will always remember that guy who handled it well. Women tend to use me for sex. lol, I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing.

I live in a small town so it's necessary for me to change the rules a bit. I envy you city boys who have the ability to go out and meet new women each and everyday. When I approach a girl she says: "Oh I know you, I've been warned about you." I had to learn how to handle such a situation. Basically don't defend yourself, go with it. I usually just say, "Ya, women usually like me."

Sometimes women will say to me: "Now, don't you get any ideas". I simply don't respond. Not a word or reaction. I just go about my business as usual. If I get a woman alone... she is mine plain and simple. It's getting them alone that is the problem. lol

I'm starting to find that personal balance between PUA and my natural game. I like the canned openers that PUA teaches you and Gambler's philosophy on approach and escalation, but I think the mixing of the two within the person, that is the natural personality and the PUA philosophy, takes some time to settle. It is a clean mix, however, an overall advancement of the human's critical thinking skills. It helps you find a way of expressing yourself in a clean cohesive manner to get what you want out of situations. Overall I'm digging what PUA is preaching. Hope all y'all are sarging hard.

Ya, I could never bring myself to use canned material. It just doesn't seem genuine. Perhaps I may say something that works and repeat it with other women, but as far as practicing something verbatum. It's just not for me. I learned the canned material only for the WHY it works. Honestly when I am talking to women, I don't think about pua at all. I just live in the moment. It's when I notice the subtle signs that I've done or said something off that I quickly think of WHY and attempt to rectify as soon as possible. I must admit though, if I think like Mystery and play it like a video game I get better initial results but eventually you'll have to let your guard down. Better to learn natural and BE NATURAL. I will check out vin dicarlo and never even heard of 60 yoc so thanks skills360.
