I generally get about 10% response rate using this for two months. Of that, 1% respond to the "take a joke" line and 99% of those tend to replied with something along the lines of that they can take a joke with usually nothing else in the reply. I've experimented with the 3rd reply and it tends to never get a reply.

My favorite are the girls who are offended by it. The best was one girl messaging me three times within a 20 minute span before I could send any replies. First was "why is that?" followed by "I found your comment incredibly rude" and lastly "you know, maybe you should remove some of your photos" I replied with the "take a joke" line and no surprise, no reply...lol

Mr. Darth Vader I would just like to thank you for helping me FINALLY break the ice on this POF fishing trip..

Every now and then I try to message a girl or two.. sometimes when desperate even a LARGE amount.. essentially just over kill message women like an AFC. After this post and a little time I actually successfully break the "EWW DECLINE" wall and get into the whole convo set-up.

I can now raise my standards back up again (back to +7) and choose my targets - out of the 10 messaged I got 6 responses and have currently number closed 2.. (HB7 and sadly a 4 (little victories here)) going to try sealing a couple more.

Has anyone noticed that the e-mail subject lines have been converted to read "View Messages" or "Re: View Messages. I know that most girls won't even read a message if the subject line doesn't catch their attention, due to the large number of messages most of them receive. If they can't see a unique subject line, it's going to significantly reduce the number of responses. Does anyone know why this change has taken place?

I used this opener on 14 girls via message, no chatting. I got about 3 reply's for the first line "Hey I would remove that picture on your profile." And got 1 successful reply back from "lol I hope you can take a joke, I thought you were adorable , I just had to say hi" but I also found her through "viewed me" on Pof. Is there something I'm doing wrong. Is it because my subject line is default "Hi"?

Hey Guys been away on some training. Some of these guys are right, you shouldn't use the opener word for word, add your personal twist to it. Remember the key is to make her react to you. Once you get the conversation started you should try the cube game when you get her on the phone. Works like a charm, one girl proposed to me even before we met. That actually freaked me out and I never went to meet her.

Impossible is Nothing!

Just tried the bet opener on Facebook and got instant response she said "what you on about". I said "you're a bit snappy to answer aren't you, I can't tell you straight away I'm not that easy". What do I do now??????

I feel like you're over thinking. You're allowing her looks to dominate you. It's okay to care, care as much as you want, just don't let it incapacitate you.

That being said, you're fine. You don't have to "think things through" before sending/saying them, say what you feel, what's on your mind. Be honest and genuine. Girls will love you if you can turn them on intellectually.

Perhaps to help, I'll say what I would respond back with. You can use this as verbatim if you feel the same, or choose your own response if you don't.

Hey guys, I’ve been doing online dating for a couple months now (very frustrating in the beginning) but with some experimenting and research, found couple things that worked:

-the Profile can NOT be serious. (Profession: Professional Coffee Brewer)

-Silly subject line (“We’re robbing a bank need a driver”)

-Profile should show that I’m selective (“Must have a college degree”)

I think we should experiment and practice a few times before we get consistent results. We need to fail sometimes so we can adjust and find another way to do it right.
