What are your upper and lower age limits for girls you would be interested in as a girlfriend? And what's your age?

I'm 26, and I can't see myself become interested in anyone outside the range 19-29.

For long term success, date your maturity level, not your age. I prefer younger women, over 22. I think for active guys in your mid-twenties or early 30's 5-7 years younger is a pretty good match. I think guys remain knuckleheads for longer than women, so I choose to date another fun loving knucklehead.

I dated a few older girls (5 years or more) and was depressed when they wanted to stay in and watch TV all the time. I've also dated one younger girl and was annoyed with her giggly, stupid social energy and lack of depth.

to answer your question ... "kind of"

you can find women of any age that are:

- emotionally stable
- have self-esteem
- and experience (to an extent)

those are nice features...

but the real reason is just maturity.

plain and simple.

i'm just a guy who's packed a lot of living into a short period of time and my whole life i look at girls my age and think "jesus, you are fucking stupid"

Yea I agree with lode. Age really is just a number. Everyone has different experiences, beliefs and interests. Its about finding someone you genuinely like being around. Its great being in them for a bit but its the around them that matter for a gf.

I'm in my 30's and I like younger girls, especially in their early 20's, but I have dated a few older women also. The age really doesn't seem to matter at all, and you have to judge them individually. A few of the older women I dated were more immature than some of the girls in their early 20's that I've dated.

And the girls in their 20's have all varied. Some were very immature, some were party girls, some down to earth, some really had their shit together.

I'm currently dating a 21 yr old, and so far she seems like one of the more mature girl's I've met. She just started grad school, knows what she wants out of life, and is working toward building her future.

Your ages don't matter. Only your personalities do.

I find myself attracted to a lot younger but also a lot older women. It's just such a different ballgame depending on the age. It depends what you're looking for out of a relationship. Currently I'm seeing a girl that is a lot younger, it works for me because the relationship is very casual, she shows a lot of respect, I can taylor her into my life without much trouble, I dictate what goes down, how and how often. All of this is very nice, but I don't see this blossoming into something really serious. It's just a fun, lighthearted, easygoing, very sexual, regular interaction with a hot, naive girl while I pursue goals in my life. It works for me now.
But, I'd stick with girls +/- 5 years of my age if I wanted something serious.
