Tektonik is cool but a bit gay.
Tutting is VERY cool but takes a long time to make it look good (and still looks kinda weird).
Keep it real simple at first.
Rock to the beat with your body.
Then bring your arms into it, experiment and see what looks good.
Try:
bouncing your shoulders (like shrugging, one at a time then both)
push elbows out (one at a time), like you're elbowing someone next to you
pretend like you're bouncing a ball (the up/down motion of the arm, keep it around torso level) - alternate hands, and then use both, cross them over each other etc)
pretend there is a box in front of your chest at around arms-length, you've got 4 corners high+low/left-right
keep your hands flat and sort of "jab" the corners with your fingertips.
then just mix it up eg
both hands top / both hands bottom / 1top-1bottom (then switch that back forth)
^this is foundation arm movements for Shuffling
OR what I do naturally when I'm just grooving is keep your hands up almost in a fighter's stance (but have your hands open) you can rock with this, you can also keep your arms loose but still hold them up.
Remember all these moves you do in time with the music, in rhythm what whatever style of music you're dancing to. Find your groove
