I was curious to see what some of these other guys are saying to girls. I took some hot pics of another girl's profile in a different city. Made her characteristic to be ideal for what i would be looking for.

The girl got about 150 msgs and counting in the first day. I am not even joking, over 150 msgs in a single day. Most of the messages were really short. A lot were like "OMG you are so hot" , but damn, 150 is a lot. 20 were before i even filled out a description

I feel like the chances of meeting a 9 or 10 online are slim to nil. They have so much attention from all kinds of different guys. I feel like unless you are really good looking or really lucky, you will not even get your message read.

I think I am going to be giving up online dating. The amount of effort it involves........ it would be way easier just to go to a bar.

Online is a waste of time. I did it on POF for 6 months in my spare time. Messaged over 1000 girls. I tried all kinds of messages. Anyways out of 1000 girls, maybe 100 responded. 50 of those carried on actual conversations after the few exchanges. Got about 30 numbers. 20 just fizzled out. Went on about 5 dates and the rest decided were crazy. Banged 2. Had a relationship with 1. Then she turned out crazy. So six months to get 2 girls with countless hours wasted. I facebooked a random hot girl once and was banging her within 1.5 weeks.

So no it's not worth it unless you are older looking for older women(30+) or willing to settle for average looking girls.

That's my experience, others claim to have great rates online. POF sucks:)

EDIT: BTW yes I am agreeing with you. It sucks cause there is hundreds of emails to a single girl per day. It's just luck more then skill. Even if you lay smooth game, she can easily be stolen away and your time is wasted.

POF should be nothing more than a way to kill time when you have nothing better to do. Oddly enough I have bagged better women from online sites compared to the girls I first met irl. I got laid twice from it and the girls were about 7-8s/10 depending on your preference. The key is that you need to stand out without making it obvious that you are trying to do so.
