I have essentially identical profiles on all 3 sites. Here's my impression of them over a month long period.

POF

Initial response rate: 90% for HB10-7
HB responses: usually short responses (1-2 sentences) but fast paced (multiple messages a day)
HB profiles: usually short and not much information (boring profiles)
# of dates over a month: 1

OKCUPID
Initial response rate: 70% for HB10-7
HB responses: usually mid length responses (3-4 sentences) and (1 message a day)
HB profiles: long w/ good information about the HB
# of dates: 2

MATCH
Initial response rate: 50% for HB10-7
HB responses: usually longer responses (1-2 paragraphs) and (1 message a day)
HB profiles: variable but usually longer than POF and OKCUPID profiles
# of dates: 3

I wondering if there are actual differences between the girls that use the 3 sites. Seems like MATCH girls are of a higher caliber (more intelligent, thoughtful, etc.), and POF girls are retarded (unintelligent) and on the site just to flirt (ego boost) . Wonder if anybody else has experienced these differences.

There is a difference between the sites for sure. OkCupid and Match are more likely going to have higher quality girls and girls more serious in meeting people or more willing to. This in no way means they are desperate, but more they are less likely to play games and what have you. POF in my experience has been a mix bag tho it does more of average to low quality girls on it. And girls more likely to play games on it.

heres my feelings on all three sites having used each. All three have more hot girls and more ungly girls then you can deal with so Im not sure how relevant that is. This sample data set is for girls around HB7. I find the hottest girls to be harder to get on the interwebz then in real life, but the medium and low end chicks are a piece of cake


Match - Girls PAY for this site. They are more serious about real relationships. You have to create more rapport with them then the other 2 sites for a date and then you have less chance of f-closing after 1-2 dates. My least favorite for anything

OKC - smarter girls as profile takes more work to complete. fuck more and easier then Match. This is the only site with a real matching tool due to being based on real matching data not random unimportant demographics

PoF - The new craigslist, mixed bag of whatever is very good and very bad. Very many horny easy to fuck girls, that will often seek you out if you have a decent profile and email style

Why do you need to build up more rapport on Match than the other two? I would think you would need less not more, seeing its a paid site and what comes along with it. As I would think girls here would be more serious about actually meeting in person and such would need less work overall.
Would agree with the craiglist comment. Tho disagree with girls seeking you out tho. In the year that I was active on that site, I only had 2 girls send me a message. And that is only because they saw that I was tall and they where tall themselves.

Girls are way more picky on Match as indicated by their pecuniary outlay of lucre, im just telling you they are more work for the same quality. I think the correlation is clear now if it was not before.

Ive been messaged more on PoF then Match and OKC combined given the same amount of time online.

That makes more sense as when I was on Match I found the same.

Out of curiosity are you sending your personal email out with your match emails? One explanation for the difference is that Match will not allow non-paying members to write back.

I paid for Match so used their email thing.

I learned not to respond or pursue unpaid accounts on Match as the girls are either scams or fishing with dynamite (mass mailing guys) and seeing who bites.
