ok so i've been having a pretty good opening success rate on POF. ive had some convo's and ive learned that you cant joke around with most chicks through a msg..negging really gets you know where..but the cocky funny works well. but my sticking point seems to be the number closing. ive gotten more flakes after opening when i asked for the number..or sometimes ill try to keep the convo going and the girl just flakes..any cocky funny tips? and any advice on number closing for online game?

Its a bit of a case-by-case basis, but I've had the most success asking during the second email. I don't go for MSN, I just ask for phone numbers.

Basically, once you've established that there is some mutual interest (emphasis on MUTUAL--meaning you have plausible reasons given in email beyond her looking hot) you can ask for a number. Give them a reason why you don't want to keep emailing (ie I'm rarely online, I'm bad at responding to POF emails, etc).

Ask for the phone number in a way consistent with your profile and message. If you're looking for something serious, you'll phrase it in a way that connotes that your'e interested in getting to know her better. If you're looking for something casual, let her know that you'll send her a text (if she's good).
