I've been off the forums for a while (but not the game), but just stumbled across that looking at some upcoming movies.

I really hope it lives up to expectations.

I've heard rumors of this stuff before. Personally, "The Game" the book written by Neil Strauss has been proven to be full of inaccurate accounts of what actually occured. There are some things that are true for the most part. There are multiple PUA characters that were combined so some people are protrayed incorrectly due to that. It makes for a better book but isn't accurate.

To be honest the movie will probably create a surge of new AFCs who want to be PUAs much the same way the book did when it came out, and the VH1 show did. It's going to be interesting around here.

The movie is bringing up a question for me. There are some women who are already aware of PUAs and their methods of meeting them to get laid. This movie is only going to spread the awareness even more. Which brings me to ask, if women are more aware and learn how to shut down these techniques better, will AFC eventually become the new PUA???

then i was like " fuck he's got a point"

but really i have already started developing some super awesome routines and openers of my own this will diferentiate me from the average pua, so maybe no one will pick up on my wicked technique, maybe thats the point of pua, its a starting point, cause personally i have grown from taking the pua lifestyle things are so much better now, i feel like this is the kind of life changing self help that needs to get out there so bring that shit on. spread the pua power. will help get more lairs set up aswell with the increased awareness

i dont always go out and use PUA, but when i do i always close.

I was kinda worried about this as well but i think we'll still be ok if we run a more Natural Game, instead of worrying to much about routines and focus more on our confidence, body language and situation. Kino is never going to go out of fashion, its always gonna work.

This movie may reveal the old ways and maybe that could help us if girls think that thats how every guy trys to pick up women. MM is only 1 thing we do, we have much more up our sleeves that they will be oblivious too

I think over the centuries PU will always change, this isn't the same tricks our grandfathers used to get girls. Buying a girl a drink was suave.

I think this community will always change why its such a good business to get into, but this movie coming out can hurt a lot of potential. But lets be real, who is going to remember everything that happens in a movie??? I just hope it doesnt come out on DVD till late haha

I'd love to act in it though would be awesome.

Guys this same discussion was had when the Game came out, then Mystery's Book, when seminar's became more popular, and when the VH1 show came out too. Is it going to affect the game as we know it...YES. Is it going to make PUA obselete and us go back to being AFC's NO.

The bottom line is there are guys that will always not full understand social dynamics and need assistance. There are more methods than what Neil Strauss used as you all know. Just because a guy is playing hard to get, or doesn't show interest in a girl it's hard to call him a PUA.

A reminder that Game is largely based on what naturals did so it's kind of hard to call someone who is not using common lines out. It's not going to be a big deal.

Think of it like this:

The real reason why you learn this shit is not only you, but to help women all over the world to find more interesting/ attracting guys.

So I dont really care if its a movie; a radio, a book, whatever. If you ever find yourself in a position where a girl accuses you of being a pua, she saw the movie and knows your method just reply to her with that; what if I am? Dont you enjoy spending time with a guy who knows what you are talking about? A man who understands the messege you are sending?

Or perhaps I should leave you with the next unexperienced guy. Good luck with that.

It will just mean u have to have be very good to survive. Most guys if put in a corner 'hey are u pick up artist', well get nervous and blow themselves out.

Then again most people will not be aware of this. Most guys do not have the balls to be active PUA's anyway. So the market is still plentiful.

Besides most Hollywood films now have elements of GAME in them anyway. It just is not clearly referenced.
