When I go out I have one opener in mind and will only approach a girl who is stationary and completely by herself who is around my age. Where I live there are only about 500,000 people. So I'll see a girl like that about once every hour, then when I do I go up about to approach and my mind over circuits with all completely negative thoughts and I can't even help it. It sucks because I go out every day for two hours a day trying to overcome it and the same thing keeps happening every time. Is there any other alternative to overcome this?

If you ask a girl a question in public; i.e. 'Do you know where the library is?' 99.9% of the time the girl will tell you where it is and you have nothing to worry about. While she's telling you you've also bought your self at least 10 seconds with her.

At this point you could throw in a few DHVs; i.e. 'The reason I ask is my mom is really bad at cooking so I thought for her birthday I'd get her a cook book'*

Once you've got the girl laughing you've won her over; use one of your own routines on her or ask her to come find the bookstore/library with you and tell her a DHV story on the way.

Basically mate, if you always open with a topical opener thats in context for the environment she will never let you down because it's just not socially acceptable to do that!

*Credit where it's due I found the basis for this routine online a few weeks ago; I can't remember where but it's worked for me

Your mindfucking yourself. Practice completely clearing your mind. Quiet the voice in your head so that there is none. Think about only the present moment and forget about a predetermined opener. Walk up and say "Hi".

1. Start doing it to everyone. Try it on old people. Run your opener on dudes, if it fits. If you don't have the same AA, then move onto girls you aren't attracted to.

2. Do it alot. Check the newbie mission. Do that. There's no cure other than to do, do, do.

3. If it's bad enough anxiety, go in with NO EXPECTATION. Allow yourself to be friendzoned right away. You might have that "Aww shit I'm in the friend zone" feeling, but having female friends gives you DHV in the field, it lets you be comfortable around them, and it will inevitably expand your social circle, which is a great place to start.

Hell I did this once, and actually told one of them I wanted to practice talking to women with her. She let me. Totally friend zoned. I'm dating other girls and guess what, she noticed. But I like having that ... backup to keep myself sane. You can want to fuck every hot girl in your life, but sometimes it's not a bad idea to have hot women there to give you pointers.
