I find women do this often. Not so much during a movie, but during conversation. I think they do it to deflect attention away. Like say u are talking sports with a few friends, a woman will always stick her "oh he is so hot" comments, it's just her way to make u realize she is the most important thing.

it might be part shit test too. They wanna see if u will bash him, making u look insecure.
