I like to dress casually most of the time.(Meaning Levis and a t-shirt)My questions are:1.Does how you dress affect how hot girls respond to you?2.How can I add more variety to the way I dress without spending more than $100?Thanks in advance for the advice.

goodwill, ross, txmaxx, and marshalls. I have a strict budget and that is where I limit my shopping to.

You can get nice button downs, sweaters, and pants at Marshalls. You will find more casual things at ross and txmaxx...and goodwill is the place to find silly fun items.

Casual isn't bad. Just have the personality to make yourself stand out

How would your dress change in different situations?

It makes a huge difference how you dress out in the field. I'm also on a budget and shop at those same places. I also buy some things at Kohl's and even Target. I moslty buy casual. Painting nails, wearing huge hats, ect.....well, that's not for me. If I'm going out out to a dive bar, I may just throw on some nice jeans, a t-shirt with some sort of intresting design (nothing with chessy oneliners on it), and my chuck taylors. If I'm going to a club I dress a little more like say, Chris Daughtry or even Neil Strauss. I find their look is good for bald guys like myself. It's a college town so it's not needed to wear 400 dollar outfits. We're all poor here.

How you look has a direct affect on how people respond to you. A better looking person will be seen as nicer, taller, even better looking then he is, better in what he does, and overally more attractive.

As for what to wear, Make it more classy or make it stand out more. WE and H&M have decent clothes to look classy. as to stand out more get a cowboy hat or tophat or something if thats allowed in your clubs, a flashy shirt, good shoes, some cheap jewelery. make sure to Rotate what you wear when seeing the same girls even rotate it for clubs. If you wear the same clothes more then 2 times in a row people will think your a filthy guy who always wears the same.

I changed my style and got way more approach invitations from girls (lots of smiles...) Spend lots of money on shoes. Seriously. The moment a woman looks at your shoes can be a deal breaker. Go to Kohls, they usually have specials, and their clothes cost as much as Wal-Mart but have a lot of style. I've found that I can pick up girls covered in sweat from the gym or exercising, but looking good makes it easier and its nice when you can get a hot girl to blush. An alpha male dresses up for himself because it makes him feel better and more confident. It's really not for other people...(once you start dressing better you find out how good it feels..) Buy your shirts and pants at Kohls (for $20) and get them fitted at the Men's warehouse ($10). Style is all about fit and comfort. As a matter of fact, if I even talk to a 6 or 7 now, they blush and feel awkward around me cuz I"m too hot...

How much do you want to buy with $100? I like to shop at places that most would consider expensive, but they really are quality clothes. If you are looking at some clothes that will stick out, without changing your usual look, maybe check out Express t-shirts, some Armani Exchange t-shirts, Banana Republic tees... If you want to change your style a bit, switch things up a bit. Wear a button-up dress shirt once in a while. I got good reactions from a long-sleeve button-up with khaki shorts, but this really only works when its warm out (damn do I miss summer...). I prefer more simple t-shirts, so I'll wear a logo-based t-shirt over a long-sleeve shirt and jeans. I also have a pair of khaki Dockers that I like to wear with a button-up, even if it is just to class for the day. Wear a polo once in a while, I like Ralph Lauren or Lacoste polos, but any will do. Mix and match, don't wear the same thing day after day. Especially in a high school, where you see the same people day in and day out.

I get most of my play during day game in the warm weather, wearing Levi's shorts, a muscle shirt, decent belt, watch, a $17 pair of hiking shoes from Wal-Mart, and cheap sunglasses hanging around my neck.

So I would say dress is not that important, as long as you're clean, well groomed, and neat. And your clothes match the social context your in.

I mean what may look appropriate in a department store or mall, wouldn't necessarily be appropriate if you were trying to pick up well dressed career women downtown at lunch.

You can certainly overdo the dress thing. You can underdo it as well.

So, to sum it up dress for the social context you expect to be in. And don't stand out like a sore thumb. Or you can potentially draw negative attention from betas, management types, etc..

That's one of the problems I have with peacocking out in public. In a bar, mall or other social context it's fine if that's your deal. But in other places, like the workplace, etc.. you can look like a complete idiot, or like you just escaped from the loony bin.

But then find a style that your comfortable wearing and use it if it works. That's the main thing. Are you comfortable, and does it work for you?

As far as clothing I do my shopping at the same places as locke. Only thing I'd like to add is throw a thumb ring in there to. I recently started wearing a plain silver thumb ring and have gotten lots of positive comments for it. Give it a shot and see if its your style.

If you like nice clothes, and you have a little change, I happened to be in one of these stores at the mall not too long ago and was quite impressed with their selection and the style.

The only thing better was the sales help.

The saying goes that women will always notice a guy's shoes first.

In my opinion you dont really need the clothes to get the girls just like you dont need the looks to get the girls, its all about inner game but the clothes will make you stand out more. But even if your on a tight budget doenst mean you cant have nice clothes like others said before marshals and other stores like that carry the same clothes as big named stores the only difference is they sell what the big stores werent able to sell you can still have the name brands (they might be older styles) at about 50% off the original price... And as rye lee said girls notice shoes first i would have to really agree to that because just think of it girls lovee buying shoes its only obvious thats where their gonna look first
