Alright so ya i'm a newb!! lol at all this shit but been talking to this girl and here's how the convo went (middle):

Me: HB, so I've come to the conclusion your stalking me... The only two times I was on campus today I looked over my shoulder and there you were, scary... jk, but ya thanks for sayin hi

HB: I'm everywhere...but really maybe it's the other way around because I definitely didn't see you today. When you say you looked over your shoulder do you really mean through binoculars?

I kno this is kinda a dumb question but what would you guys say back... as far as being able to demonstrate higher value and neg at the same time?

My response:

"Being the stalker that you are do you have a whole shrine built for me or are you still working on it?"

HB: I don't know what you have that would make me stalk you...if you say that I'm a good looking girl and that isn't enough I'm not sure what you think keeps me chasing after you. Which I'm not.

She can obviously see that you're trying too hard, which you are. You don't need to work so hard to make a line fit into a spot where there's really no use for it.

Well personally, I think you stuck with the stalker thread too long. But considering the way it ended, I probably would have just laughed it off, given her a wink and started a new thread of conversation.

I've found little jokes like you used here are fun and can show you how she feels around you based on her reactions/responses, but if you take it too far or keep it going for too long it will get boring, or even come off as a little bit confrontational. Neither of which are feelings you want her to associate you with.
