Hello community

For the last half year I've been on a selfimprovement spree. This summer I was at a down point in my life, 19 years old and all I was doing was smoking weed with my friends, never getting laid.

Fortunately my constantly high alterego took a very spontaneous decision: To do 4 months of duty in the Air Force Training Center.

I stopped smoking weed during these 4 months, and made a promise to myself that I would use these 4 months, to get in the best shape I possibly could. Also while being in the millitary I read alot of books, now that I wasn't high I needed stuff to keep me entertained, so I came across pick-up - and came across this community.

Now I am finally out of the military, and in the best shape of my life. And I don't plan on slowing down. I work out constantly and do different sports and martial arts.

I do:

Yoga (Great for picking up HB9's and 10's)
Basketball (Great to build alpha qualities and selfesteem, I am training my vertical jump potential to make some wicked dunks)
Running (Training for a marathon)
Wing Tsun (You get confidence from knowing you can beat up 99% of guys the club)
Parkour (Just because - why not?)

Combine this with reading alot of books and general information about selfimprovement, pick-up, NLP, The Secret (BIG UP!) ect. ect. and you got yourself a pretty attractive lifestyle and a good inner game.

I used to be a tall and skinny stoner who never got action. Now I have an attractive body, and I can easily get sexual with girls, and I force alot more IOI's.

I know a big part of the pick-up community doesn't rely on looks to get HB's. But I didn't do this for pick-up as much as I did it for myself.

I think it would be awesome if you guys would share your input on what being healthy and sporty brings to your inner-game.

Cheers

Its good that your working on improving your life and taking action but at the same time, don't be delusional.

I don't want to get into a martial arts debate but I do want to stop you from getting your ass kicked.

Wing Tsun isn't a very practical martial art. If you want a practical martial art then take up something that has proven to work. Boxing, Muay Thai, or BJJ would be my suggestion. Hell, join a good MMA gym and learn all three while getting in GREAT shape.

Second, 4 months of training aint shit. Don't think that with a few months of training in anything that your going to be able to beat up 99% of the club. Otherwise, your just going to get your ass kicked.

Actually I think 4 months of intensive training is a lot. But I think you're right that kickbox will be better if you get into some kind of streetfight, because you want to be able to give a good punch. Either way, it's better than nothing.

Working out will not improve your game, but it will definitly make it a easier to pick up girls. And a healthy lifestyle is always good!

Don't get into fights period. I like fighting, but in a dojo or controlled environment, I've heard way too many stories about martial artists being sued when they didn't started a fight, thing is they finished it. In the judges eyes , martial arts is never selfdefence, it's always a weapon of torture. Also, multiple attackers, broken bottles of beer, knifes, slipping acid in your drink, finding out where you live and take it out on your car, dog, fence, harassing girls in the club, giving your friends shit when you aren't with them.......

List goes on and on ;) These aren't the Middle Ages anymore when you can run around kicking people in the face when they don't suit you. Even if they start it, it will never end with you being the hero, there will be consequences.

Other than that, guys we are getting out of topic. Great to see you are taking the steps to improve your life! Keep up the good work. Also if you want to blend martial arts in your game I get great results with doing to BJJ wrestling, since you can pretty much control every position you get it, while it may seem random to her :P

Hey Warped,

What's up with the negativity, our bro Velocity! mentions 10+ awesome things he's done in the past four months and you picked one and just bash it. Not cool bro...

Yo Velocity!

Its pretty awesome that you've done all that in the past four months. I'm really interested in the parkour stuff.
How did you get started in the parkour stuff, are you actually learning from someone, or just freelancing running by yourself?

Just to contribute,
I've started university, got to finish the insanity program(all 60days of it), and started teaching the kids class at my martial art(RMA) gym. Plus I started some insane diet for the next 10 days.

Hey WM, I should've inserted a [SARCASM] [/SARCASM] around the beating up people part. I am a pacifist, or atleast I aim to be. Never been in a barfight, but what I want from Wing Tsun is the confidence about knowing that I can handle a potential dangerous situation and protect myself and my lady.

Samex: I started doing parkour the same place I practice basketball. In a street-culture-forum. They frequently do workshops where you can stimulate pretty much every interest that is urban related. I am not good at parkour yet, but having the jumps of a baller I have an advantage over the other newbies :)

What is your insane diet? I myself am on a full-on vegan diet

Your right, that may have came off more negative than I had hoped. I'm happy to see that hes taking massive action towards his goals, its more than a lot of people do. :)

What is the Air Force Training Center? Are you talking about AFSOTC? And how were you only in for four months? BMT and Tech School take longer than that for most AFSC's.

I'm just confused is all.

Edit: Nevermind, you're in Copenhagen. I'm a dumbass.
