Believe me, the only play Mystery's outfit will get here in my neck of the woods is up the road at the gay bar, at a rave, or out behind the woodshed some place. What works in L.A. doesn't necessarily equal pay dirt in bumbf..k Alabama. But alas, any approach is better than no approach.
His experience is very good, but like you point out it is still limited in some regards. Like most seduction and pick up techniques so much depends upon the guy delivering it, and the social context of where it's delivered.
No doubt we all have much room for self improvement, even the so called gurus or even us old timers who remember a time when it just all seemed so much easier to connect with the opposite sex.
Stay out of the Marines? Yes of course, great idea especially during this time. College is a much better choice, with many more amenities for a sharp fellow like you. Then if you still would like to join the service, like if you've gone completely crazy or something or don't have any other opportunities, you can go in as an officer. You know, the whole DHV thing.
As for healthy criticism, I think the term is called 'critical thinking', and it is a sign of intellect. A critical personal skill in my opinion.
After all positive thinking wont fix the plumbing, and it wont bring the next advance in the world of seduction/pick up.
