Imma be honest to you all, I'm not good at talking to people. At least I think I'm not as good in terms of my standards for myself. I'm not sure if there are other people out there who feel the same way I do, but for those that do I wanted to have a little something for all of them in-case someone needs it.

What am I trying to establish?
Let me make this straight, I'm just asking the community to pitch in some ideas of interesting topics to talk about for the people "like me" who tend to blank out when it comes to finding something interesting to say or talk about.

I'M NOT ASKING FOR OPENERS...
Just topics that are either random, interesting, intriguing, engaging, or all of those combined. Just post some interesting things or facts that would be good for conversations so that some of us can have an idea of what to say when theres suddenly nothing to talk about.

I'll post a few that I've seen here.
I'm just posting interesting facts, so I suggest that you.. if your thinking about it... don't use this bword for word. Because it would sound cheezy.

- Did you now that there are 20 9 in between 1-100? There 10 nines that we know of in between each interval of 10 from 1-100. That would be the 9, 19, 29, 39, etc... Now that last 10 comes from 90-100. In this case, the number 9, comes up 10 times in the tenths place. That would total 20 nines in between 1-100. I got that one from one of Mystery's videos on youtube.

I have some of my own ,but I'm tired and ready to hit the z's any second now. So if you have soemthing interesting, post it here and I'll edit this topic and credit you for whatever your posting.

Preciate it,
~John Q

I wish this would be a sticky. For some reason i always visualize myself of having nothing to say...and sometimes that is enforced when i really do go blank(happened a few times with family over thanksgiving). In the very near future i'm going to take an hour and just think about cool topics and i'll come back to this thread.

Since so many people it seems don't give you ANY hints what the fuck they are about(and yet stand there expecting a conversation)..the only conversations i can get going are by getting lucky and striking a specific interest of there's....example: seeing they have piercings or tattoos.

My advice if you don't know enough interesting stuff, is to hit up Wikipedia. That site is like fucking heroin, but good for your brain. You think to yourself, "Hey, I'm curious when the Resident Evil: Extinction DVD is coming out so I can get a decent rip," you hit up Wikipedia because its at the the very top of your favorites list as it is humanity's greatest wealth of knoweldge ever created. You find out your release date, but you also learn a couple cool things about a 4th movie coming out (oh that's cool, bet some people don't know about that and I could talk about that at some point), then you see a link to Milla Jovovich's page, you go there cause she's amazing. You read a couple interesting facts there and learn take a link to somewhere else, then somewhere else and on and on and on and before you know it, you've learned about 20 different cool things.

You start talking about these things to people and then when they ask you where you heard that, you say, "Wikipedia, that place is awesome, I get lost on there for hours sometimes!" Hey, you're now this cool intelligent guy that knows tons of stuff and will continue to, because you like Wikipedia and I've yet to get a negative response to dropping that name. Typically what I get is, "OMG! I LOVE that site!! It just sucks you in, like the other night I went to check out, blah blah blah and then I ended up on blah blah after about 20 pages of random cool stuff!" I get this ALL the time.

The RE -> Milla Jovovich thing actually happened to me today, but I had the willpower to stop because I had things to do.

I have found when you hit a blank, just say something about the town your in. Look up an intersting fact.

Like "Did you know St. Pete, FL is where wikipedia was created." it will lead you to all kinds of tangents. It is important to be interesting and maybe bring up something new.

Or do what Mystery and Style say, look up snapple facts and then quote them. I actually printed out about 300 of them on a hand size pamphlet. Leave it in your back pocket and study them when your bored.

Mystery uses "do you know fish cough?"
I like "Did you know fish can drown?"
