| A quick story about a successful open, compliments, negs, DHV, AMOG, Wing women ..and eventual loss of interest by a HB7 at a local small bar......and what I think I have leared.
Ok setting the scene I went Solo to a local small tavern with live music Thursday is ladies night so checking out the place to see if I want it to be a regular spot. I am 40...so we are talking about the 25-45 crowd and not tween pickup here. The place was bouncing with pretty well to do sets so there was room to work here.
I took up a good spot at the bar, and observed 2 girls further down that appeared to be alone, and got eye contact a couple of times with target HB7. She did not look that happy...Think Angry...irritable = whatever.
I observed this guy move in and take a seat next to her, and he was more interested in his phone than her, but they did talk. It looked like she was in need of rescue...so when he got up from the chair I slid in and said hello, and ordered a drink, and asked her if she needed rescue from this guy because I had stollen his seat and was not giving it back.
She laughed and explained that the guy was a friend and she was not interested in him and he had a Girlfriend. I met HB7's engaged friend who thanked me for coming over to talk to them. I complimented, and tried to make some follow on compliments mildly sexual in nature = I am working on this as I leared about myself I was not complimenting or escilating in other approaches.
We were having a good time, lots of laughing, I negged, told stories, DHV'd a little, while her friend occupied her male friend.....****Ok, later her friend came and distracted me with some of the usual Qualifying interview questions: Work, Kids, where you from, live etc. I have no baggage so answered all this = The male AMOG supposedly with girlfriend slid in and Isolated my target at this time while I was distracted by her Wing.......I don't know how he did it, but after that it was a situation where she was cold as ICE = no eye contact, nothing ,...total shutdown, and she was wearing this guy like a backpack the rest of the 5 minutes I stuck around.
So another one of those I will never understand Women kind of things.
What I think I learned.
1. Isolate within 5 minutes. Don't stick around chatting it up = either number close, or escillate isolated quickly as there will be another guy approaching any second = that's what I did!
2. Every guy is a threat! The ones they claim are with girlfriends, and probably Married guy's too. So again Isolate etc.
3. Check the Compliments...I may have overdone this because it was a mission to go and specifically compliment so I could escillate because this was hangup. I don't recall that I got any Compliments in return, and she turned away a few times so there was not alot of IOI there even though covo was very friendly.
So I think she was in the bar sure...but not wanting to be picked up but liked my looks etc. Talking was good, but when the compliments were of a sexual nature she ran for cover with the AMOG as a MANPACK = That is a Man used as a backpack...I made that up HARHAR!
